Well, I think it's been a while since anyone's started a picture thread...and I find they are very fun...I enjoy them :)

So...I'm starting one...there are some newer people around...and it's just always fun to see what some of you look like :)

So, if you've got pics of yourself/your pets/whatever....

Here's one of moi...a very accurate portrayal of how I look on a daily basis...;) Actually this was taken at my mom's wedding :)

I just took this picture like 2.5 seconds ago.

I used to have a lot longer hair. I just got it cut and highlighted this week.... my hair is naturally blonde but I just wanted it REALLY blonde. The ladies here know what I mean. :)

This was taken about two years ago, at my old job. My hair is now cut more in a 20's bob style. I'll try to scan and post a more recent picture later. I've gone one where I'm holding my cousin's baby. The look on my face is priceless--sort of like I'm utterly delighted that I can hand him back!

She hasnt had any severe/negative rections to the chemo treatments (ie-Hair loss), Matter of fact the only side affects is she has a tan, The grey in her hair disappeared (Wished I could say the same for myself) & her hair is turning a strawberry blonde color (Her hair thined a tiny bit but hasnt fell out which is very common with the drugs that are part of her chemo treatments.)

Arizona :thumbsup: There's something about taking a midwestern girl (who's never really been out of the midwest) and putting her in the mountains. I was in bliss. I swear, I bought a memory card for the camera while I was there and wound up taking over 200 pictures! I felt like such a tourist. But I absolutely loved it. It was the best vacation I've ever taken. Arizona kicks Florida's ass!

When I was younger, probably in my early teens, I had seen Ellen Burstyn on some talk show and she was talking about how she chose to live her life without alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, caffeine, etc, and I immediately thought that I'd never touch any of that **** so that I could live a long and healthy life. I figure that if I take care of my body, my body will take care of me in my golden years.

My scanner is old, so the drivers don't match up with my newer computer. I tried downloading updated driver software from HP, but it didn't work. And 45MBs on dial-up? I won't be doing that again. I was hoping for Rumpelstiltskin to hop out and make me promise my first kid in exchange for a fast download. And I have Windows XP (it f*cking sucks, too) and the scanner only works with Windows 98. I guess it's about time I bought a new one instead of using it to put books on. :laugh:

The one I use is Protient Actif Pur: Daily Firming Treatment. Take a little dab of that, smooth it around your eyes and stretch the skin up a bit and you'll look like a star. If you're using it for your whole face, step it up to twice a day, morning and night after you wash. You'll see a difference in a week. :xoxo:

My scanner is old, so the drivers don't match up with my newer computer. I tried downloading updated driver software from HP, but it didn't work. And 45MBs on dial-up? I won't be doing that again. I was hoping for Rumpelstiltskin to hop out and make me promise my first kid in exchange for a fast download. And I have Windows XP (it f*cking sucks, too) and the scanner only works with Windows 98. I guess it's about time I bought a new one instead of using it to put books on. :laugh:

The stuff from Serious Skin Care is made for all types of skin, so when you order, you can tell them your skin type and they'll send oyu the stuff accordingly. But no one that I know likes getting stuff from HSN, I don't think you'll be the exception. :laugh:

Try Roc, I'm tellin ya. You can get it anywhere and it's super cheap. AND - it smells good, too.
Thanks. Maybe i'll try it. But i have enough oil in my skin for, oh, 3-4 people? So I try to leave it alone, mostly, and let it nourish my skin (natural oil is good). But now i do, occasionally, use stuff. Perhaps i'll try it. My lotion actually works real well, too. It has natural ingredients and COQ10, and it's light, but not too light...it's weird i actually found something!!! :rolleyes: :wavey:

I never go a day without using Serious Skin Care, been using it for almost ten years. :laugh: The eye lifts are non-surgical and exfoliate, too, so they don't harm the skin.

Every now and then I use Noxema or Sea Breeze (I LOVE Sea Breeze) to clean my face, but 98% of the time I just use soap and water.

I don't even use anything in my hair... just wash it, towel dry it, and then comb it (I have THICK hair -- though I'm not complaining).
