I thought about doing a blue peel but there's a whole regimen you have to go through for six weeks before. Since I turned 40 I notice the fine lines a lot more and I'm starting to get that jowly thing. :eek I'll probably have the blue peel or laser at some point as I have no intention of aging gracefully. :lol: But I'd rather have lasik first so I don't have to wear contacts anymore.

I am very lucky I think in the aging department - my grandmother aged beautifully and my mom seems to be doing good as well....and my sister who is ten years older than I could totally pass for someone my age....:nod:

But - as I've mentioned my skin is getting weird lately - lack of moisture - but I did find a good moisturizer and am now hopeful that I can look okay again...

Supposedly it does work on the nearsighted . I am going to be very careful about who I pick to do it. I want to make sure they've done the procedure a lot and know what they're doing. Supposedly they just give you a valium to relax you, which is just so not going to work on me. :lol:

The blue peel is where the put this blue acid peel on your face, you look like a smurf :lol: and then all your skin peels off over the next 10 days. :eek: The results are incredible though. Your skin looks all healthy and glowing and it peels it down to a layer where a lot of the fine lines are not.

I'm too scared to do something like that :shocked: I think i'll end up getting a microderm or a glycolic peel because I have a tiny bit of scarring near my hair line and if I get it done a few times, it might reduce the appearance. Of course, it's probably not as bad as I make it out to be but hey, i'd rather it weren't there at all so anything that makes it less noticable to me, the better :nod:

Microderms are a cake walk. Just make sure they give you the little fan when they put the acid on after. :nod:
