This great little goldtone photograph of Mt. Rainier (taken from the West featuring Liberty Cap and the Sunset Amphitheater) dates to the 20\'s or 30\'s, It has a label on the back that identifies it as the work of J.B. Ellis of Arlington, Washington. J. Boyd Ellis, former Principal of Marysville High School, started his career as a photographer in 1921 when he bought a studio in Arlington, Washington. He became the \"forgotten master\" photographer of the mountains, forests and cities of Washington Stae. He died in 1983 at the age of 89. This photograph\'s framed size is 5\" x 7\".
