PETER GREEN'S FLEETWOOD MAC, the night after the bust, NOLA, Jan 31 1970, on CD:
PETER GREEN'S FLEETWOOD MAC opened New Orleans' new rock music venue, The Warehouse, as the middle band on its first night, Friday, January 30th, 1970, between The Flock and the Grateful Dead. The Dead wound up busted on Bourbon Street later that night. Peter Green and Mac were as shaken as the Dead. Saturday night, the 31st, Mac preceded the Dead again. Musically, of the three shows Fleetwood Mac played that weekend, this may be the most powerful. It features a heartfelt cover of BB King's All Over Again, known to Mac fans by its first line, "I've Got a Good Mind to Give Up Living," dripping with pain. Highly sought after by collectors. Also, the only performance that weekend of "Oh Well". Less than six weeks later, Peter Green gave away his guitars and quit the music business for 20 years.
