GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) Therecord itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deteriorationin sound quality. The cover and any extra items such asthe lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records markedas Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Near Mint (NM) Therecord has been played no more than a few times and look like new with novisible marks or deterioration. The cover and any extra items such as the lyricsheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent (EX) Therecord shows some signs of having been played, but there is very littlelessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wearand/or creasing.
Very Good + (VG+)The record has obviously been regularly played, but displays no majordeterioration in sound quality, despite possible noticeable surface marks andthe occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,without any major defects is acceptable
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played manytimes, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some noticeablesurface marks and light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extraitems, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G) or Good+ (G+) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeablydeteriorated, perhaps with some background noise and mild scratches. The coverand contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits,discolouration, etc…
The sleeve isgraded first so an item that is EX/NM is a vinyl record in near mint conditionwith a sleeve/cover that is in excellent condition.
