The finish of the lamp\'s main body reminds me of an Easter egg - extremely smooth, and faintly speckled, with a predominant color of salmon, coral, brown pink or mauve. White leaves, on a thorny vine, wrap around the lamp in relief (raised design) and a \"mound\" of the same leaf design tops the body of the lamp. To me, the lamp has kind of an Asian, Oriental feel. The footed base is a wood-look brown resin. The final photo shows the ceramic bottom of the lamp\'s body.Included with the lamp is allof the original Ethan Allen quality hardware: harp (elongated), solid brass ball finial and solid brass turn switch knob. NO shade, but often the increased cost of shipping a shade can be as much as the price of the shade itself.This lamp is in excellent condition. There is a small nick along the side of the electrical cord (see final photo),but this hasnoaffect on the functioning of the lamp (3-way socket). At at some point you may want to replace the cord.... a do-it-yourself job, or about $10 at lamp stores, but the lamp is working perfectly now.
