Question How limited is a limited CD edition??

Of course SYW is not in Peru yet, it takes few weeks to arrive at stores. I'm arriving to the US on apr. 27, and of course I'll immediately go to a Best Buy or ANY store to get SYW.

After reading the revies about the limited edition, I think I'll buy it anyway. But I am (not so much) worry about maybe it'll be sold out by that day. Do you think it will? I have no idea how much CD they edit

Hi there! The limited edition is worth the money. The packaging is great. The cover artwork is different from the album. It comes in in a thick cardboard binded book-like package. Inside there are lots of photos and all the lyrics. One page folds out to show the whole band working in their home studio. The bonus cd not only includes two album outakes -- Love Minus Zero (a Bob Dylan cover) and Not Make Believe, but also live versions of Say You Will and Peacekeeper (from the AOL sessions; they sound very close to the studio versions though). Plus, put the cd in your computer and you get to access a site that has about five films clips of the band recording and working on various songs. Was this helpful?

Exclamation VILLAVIC

As for "how many", I don't know, the copy I have is not "numbered" like other "limited edition" items I have bought in the past that WERE (like FM's "The Boston box" or PGSG "Soho sessios") so I'd imagine it'd be a good few more than the amounts of those kinds of things. So if you order it at amazon.com or whatever soon then you'll probably be safe enough and get one but I'd get my order in soon if I were you, just to make sure the "low level of stock" worry doesn't become a factor.

I was wondering how you could tell the difference. Does the shrink wrap say limited edition? I have SYW already but may go buy another copy for the LE stuff. Inquiring minds want to know!

Question

I got it at Target for $18.88. About 3pm. They had plenty of both editions. They even advertised it in this weeks sale ad.

Do you have a Target near you? Best Buy must have it. Surely, Tower Records would have it. Tower had all FM 25% off. They had everything in stock on saturday - old stuff, newer stuff, some Japan import, all the cover cds.

Good luck!

Also the cover is red, not the B&W photo we've all come to associate with the cover. I got mine at Target today and walked past it three times before I recognized it!

Mine is starting to. I noticed it as soon as I opened it in the Target parking lot.... which makes the book hard to open and read. I know a guy on the Hoffman & ICE forums who returned his numerous times.Whoever designed it should have looked at the Vaudville Years set first, it's a much better design.\

hasnt fell apart yet, But I was hoping it would have been worth the extra money packaging-wise...I'm happy with the extra songs on the disc 2...Brian J.

in one arfternoon i probably saw 40 copies of the LE cd.... 15 of which were in a sam goody at the local mall... and the rest were all at the nearby best buy.... there were so many of them in the fleetwood mac section that it looked like they took out copies of rumours or the dance or other staples or make room for all of them. i swear... there were soooo many that i felt like buying them all just to make sure they were given a good home- they looked lonely even though i walked away with one in my hand it still felt like i was leaving the band behind in the little shelf thingy... btwn flaming lips and foghat or something. i may go back and check on them... to see if any of them have found homes....

Wow, really? I thought there would've been more than that!

That sort of justifies the price for me!
