Oakland pre-sale does not work!!!

When I entered my fan club password, it linked me to a page that listed only boxing and comedy shows. Then, when you click on the left side for "July 2003," they are not even listed!!

When I called the fan club hotline #, I got a recorded message saying "that mail box is full."

And why am I not surprised by this??? I think I'll go over to Mick's board and flame the sh*t out of the Knight and BEG him to ban me!!!

Yeah, Sulamith!!! Here's what I just posted over THERE:

"After I selected "buy fan club pre-sale tix," and entered my password, a boxing match and a comedy show were listed. No FM, not even after clicking on the "July 2003" tab on the left side of the screen? WTF

And not surprising, when I called the fan club help phone #, I got a message saying the mailbox was full. Maybe they are all too busy "working on some way to make it up to us." Just like The Knight stated in his apology email regarding the FIRST pre-sale fiasco. What a crock of sh*t!

I fully expect you to delete this post and ban me from the board. I'd consider that an HONOR!!!"

There's someone posting over there that he got front row tickets a SECOND time. What are the statistics on such luck? Maybe you need to contact HIM and find out the "strategy."

I am very sorry to hear that you were shut out again. I remember reading a post that you worked for The Nicks Fix. I also see they are posting some of the fan club emails there. Maybe they can help you look into some of the happenings in SOME way-if only to let them know there is definitely trouble in shangri-la.

I think they are finally wearing fans down by deleting their posts. Well, if you're UN-happy, you can still post about it here. HAPPY POSTS only on Micks board.

Everyone is having equal or better luck on the venue presales, so I hope something works out for you that way.

Sharon, I had no intention of going to the Oakland show - I was just curious to see what kind of tix came up, like I did for the other presales today. However, after what happened, I became LIVID! LOL I'm "Livid Livia" today! Heh.

I had the very same experience with tickets.com for every presale they have held so far. I never figured out why and they certainly weren't any help. I told them I suspected soemone was using my password to buy up tickets. They didn't even care, say they were sorry or anything. Their response was a lame, it was busy and things like that happen answer.

I have to believe SOME improvements have been made since the first fiasco. Someone posted that the seats offered the first time around were the WORST of the best seats, a top down sale to get rid of the hardest to sell seats. (check the Knightly News section, if it's not been deleted, "notes" or something from the first sale.) Maybe the "club" tickets quality have changed. (two in the first row, 4 in the 10th, etc) Nonetheless, there were many unfair things that happened at that time, and nothing has been settled. Of course most of the posts that spoke up were deleted.

Livia, I got your PM. Sent at least one back!

I'm trying to hone down on the PM-ing skills.

Well, Trinity just confirmed that members of Mick's board are lurking over here. I don't know if you've checked all the replies to your post yet or not, but you'll notice that statements you made on the Ledge have now been quoted over there and used to question your actions. Gotta love the pathetic nature of that whole board!

I wasn't aware that posting here and posting over on Mick's board were mutually exclusive. There are alot of bad feelings over here about Mick's board and I just don't get it. Is it because this board wasn't chosen to be the "official" site? I'm not being sarcastic, I really do want to know where this animosity sprung from. It just seems that so many of the posts here (and on Mick's board) are written with such large chips on their e-shoulders.

I make no attempt to apologize for the Fan Club. Some people feel cheated and I guess that's always going to happen in such a situation. However, so far, it seems to me like this second pre-sale is going much better than the previous one.

Judging by the massive delete campaign that is going on over there now, who knows how the presale is really going?
And please, don't play Pollyanna when it comes to the animosity. you post on both of these boards and you know exactly what is going on. This is an open forum and that one reminds me of...Hogan's Heroes meets The Matrix.
