NEW version of Thrown Down (spoiler thread!)
WOW! This new version of Thrown Down ("shaking the faith") is totally different! It gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. So much better than the one we've been hearing. I hope this is the final version. The guitar and tempo is reminiscent of Gypsy....but not too reminiscent.
The clip is on SaraRhiannon.com. Sara, I am forever in your debt. You ROCK. These harmonies convince me again that Lindsey and Stevie's voices still have that magic "timbre" Keith Olsen talked about in BTM...that these two voices are meant to sing together...after hearing the new Peacekeeper I needed just a little reassurance. I LOVE THIS VERSION! So much better than the other one! The new lyrics are fabulous! Thanks for the info
 BTW... "Steal Your Heart Away" and "What's The World Coming To" are also up on the site!!!!

I like the sound and instrumentation and the verses better than from the version I knew (the other 2 versions better said, not counting the Stevie solo demo) The chorus... there I liked the other one better. But what will be the album version is hard to tell. Let`s wait and see.

Go down to the Album section and it should have the track listing. Next to the tracks will be options to view the lyrics and for some of them, the option to download.

Wierd but I only have the "download" option next to "peacekeeper." Maybe it has been taken down allready? Oh well...but if someone could possibly E-mail me I'd be really grateful. Thanks

Well, I certainly think this is an incredible version!!!!!!! What a diffrence. I, too, got a tear in the "shaking the faith" part. Whew!

WoW, I almost cryed when I head the new throw down. I love the new verse about faith. Blew me away.
I love Stevies harmonies on Steal your heart away. I like these better than say you will clip. I just can't wait for the album. Alisonmusic

Maybe I'm the only one, but I really prefer the older version of Thrown Down that was floating around. To me, although Stevie is singing in a lower key, her vocal has much more feeling in the older version. And, I don't really like the new phrasing. To tell the truth, i'm very dissapointed ....Also what happened to this verse:
You say you're sorry Now you should walk a way But it's so overwhelming You have nothing left to say You can sit outside your door and wait Well you can dedicate your pain to him ??? If they cut that from the song, I will be even more dissapointed. That was my favorite part of it!  Dan Maybe it will grow on me....

I doubt they got rid of the gorgeous "You say you're sorry" verse, and here's why: On fleetwoodmac.com they show a little black and white clip of them (I don't know if it's still there but it was a couple days ago, and not for FC members only either) and Stevie is singing THAT verse. So I doubt they would have that little sample of that particular part of the song on the official website if it's not gonna be part of the album. Remember, this is just a clip.
Thrown Down had the first impact on me when I heard it in raw TISL demo form. It blew my mind. That version is so passionate, but very unpolished. -Sonia

OMG!!!! What is up with that whole new verse???? I think we lost the "you say your sorry" verse. I am going to be heartbroken. That just means that I will have to add both versions onto a CD. Its ok now that I think about it. That "you say your sorry" verse will just be even more special.
