Default Out of the cradle
I finally got it today. I'll post a review up, after listening to the whole CD, but from what I've heard, it's great.

Will do, but I'll have to do that after I've listened to it again - don't really like judging songs/albums on first listen.

I like the whole album, the first time I heard the spoken intro. to Surrender the rain, Lindsey's voice sounded so creepy.
Don't have a least favourite track.

Ok - I hope I don't get in trouble for this one:

Please keep in mind that I am no longer the same person I was when OOTC first came out (meaning I don't live that lifestyle anymore).

I listened to OOTC after taking a hit of acid once (shortly after it came out). And life was never the same after that - lol

Actually, reading what sofie said about the intro to surrender the rain just tripped me out, because I remember the first time I heard that and I felt the same way. Lindsey's a trippy dude

But this album really is a masterpiece. Too hard to pick favorites from - it really needs to be taken as a whole and listened to in one sitting...completely. I can never just play certain tracks from it.

David, you're not teh only. I can't pick favourite tracks from it either.(not listening to it much might have something to do with it)

Lindsey IS a trip! I am listening to lots of his trippier, wierder songs right now (Johnny Stew, Time Bomb Town). I mean, you talk about multiple personality disorder, I think Lindsey is a prime candidate for it!! You have:

Romantic Lindsey singing Stevie's Crystal on the White Album
Angry Lindsey singing on GYOW on Rumours
Trippy, freaky Lindsey singing on The Ledge on Tusk
1950's Lindsey singing Oh Diane on Mirage
Pop idol Lindsey singing Trouble on L&O
Insane Lindsey singing Go Insane on um...Go Insane (LOL)
Mysterious Lindsey singing Tango in the Night on TITN
Family man Lindsey singing Street of Dreams on OOTC
Political Lindsey singing Murrow/Peacekeeper

He's like a diamond, he has many facets....

Heart OOTC !!!
Out Of The Cradle...Endlessly
Rocking by poet... Walt Whitman!!!
We've been playing this MASTERPIECE!
My favorite is... Doing What I Can!!!

"I go to sleep... I pray the Lord...
My soul to Keep! What will be,Will Be!"
Feeling saddness of his brother dying.

Lindsey's Finest solo Musical Work!!!
JUST WONDERFULLY... AWESOME!
Tremendous Work of The Very Talented
Musician Lindsey BucKINGham! Sky

Exclamation DWIC!!
I love DWIC too!! That song ROCKS and I love the guitar part at the end! I love the lyrics too..

"Falcon sits, out on grey rock,
slow death shakes, ticking the tock.
I go to sleep, things left undone.
I go to sleep now and fly into the sun....

"when the darkness comes, you've got to fly into the light" is my favorite line in the song because it's good advice to live by.

This is one of those "crank it up LOUD!!" kind of songs!!
