Default Speaking of EO17 and HAEWAFY live....

What specific live performances of these songs stick out in your minds??

Mine would be:

EO17: Arizona Heart Institute Benefit 2000

HAEWAFY: Jones Beach, Shangri-La Tour 2001

My favorites of "Edge of 17" are all three from the Rock A Little Tour: Jones Beach 6-08, the Garden 8-05 & the Forum 7-18.

I tend to enjoy the "Has Anyone" songs from the Shakin' The Cage Tour, I think it was --- Landover somewhere in October, I love that one more than all the others. I taped the two at the Forum in December & one in San Diego. They were ... eh... they were fine.

Well I guess I was just thinking of performances that I was actually at....but if we are gonna do ones that we weren't at but have seen or heard....

I would have to give a "shout out" to the '98 Letterman performance of HAEWAFY.

HAEWAFY-AHI 2001~she started crying after when she was talking about 9/11...it just killed me...

Edge of 17-I'd have to say Jones Beach 01' too..just because up until that point my day had sucked..I had to work, then drive from MA to Jones Beach, and i was getting some weird stomach bug,and i fighting with my parents...all this crap...and then i was like 10 rows back so it took this big effort to like get up to stage and i almost broke my neck but some really cute guys kinda caught me,lol...and then it was just like...I was right there..and she was singing..and everything was cool...like i didn't have a problem in the world...

LOL....

Sarah I always laugh about my attempts to get to the front of the stage....it was always such a frightening experience!! At Jones Beach I was like 14 rows back and we started going and everyone behind us started pushing, and all of a sudden there was a guy in the middle of the aisle sitting in a chair in front of me and I literally had to strattle him and jump over his head.....and then there was some guy to my right who goes....."MY SHOE!!" and he stopped to get it, but everyone kept pushing, and I'm thinking....buddy, there is no way you are getting that shoe back....LMAO.....

and then at the Boston show....I always have to laugh, because even though we were half way back in the front section, I somehow got right up in front of the stage.....however, I did not WALK there.....I levitated.....literally, because people pushed so much that my feet were lifted from the ground and I was "carried" down there. LOL.

At Pittsburgh.....I crack up too because I wore a knee length jean skirt, and I felt rediclous, like I was on the track team in a skirt....cause I had to HURDLE 5 rows of chairs in the damn thing to get to the stage....

Gotta love the chaos....lol.

I love the version of EO17 from the Storytellers.. that one was pretty cool. As far as the concerts go, my favorite has to be either the LA shows or the Vegas shows because I was right up in the front and it was awesome.

My favorite HAEWAFY version is definitely the Letterman show. Concertwise, I would have to say that my favorites were the Atlantic City '01 show.. the weekend after 9/11... there was just so much emotion to it and the Jones Beach '01 show.. that was the first time I saw her with the top hat.

The only live version of EO17 I've heard, is the one of the Enchanted cd set.

Well, HEWAFY from the 2000 AHI also..it was my first time ever seeing Stevie..and I cried and cried.

EO17 from her August Albuquerque show...because I actually made it to the very front and was hanging on a speaker to keep myself stage level (I'm short) She didn't actually grab my hand..there was only a brush...but to be that close to Stevie was So cool!
