Have you all read the liner notes for the Very Best Of.....??
I was pretty impressed with the write up a nice bit of wordsmithing.....especially the comments about Stevie..... Stevie Nicks - one of the most distinctive and beloved singer-songwriters ever - brought to the party her unique voice as both a singer and writer as well as a sensual star power... It sums up this way... This wide range of talent gave Fleetwood Mac a depth of craft that set a new standard in Rock. Their stirring, infectious sound was all encompassing - able to offer a home to Nicks' unabashadly personal tone poems, Buckingham's clever and intensive experimentation, Christine mcVie's amazing grace and Mick Fleetwood and John McVie's blues power... I feel all the comments about each of the Mac stars truly sums up the talent of this briliant band... ![]()

I liked it, too. Especially the part about them "marrying their fortunes together".
The guy who wrote it is David Wild, who hosts the Bravo channel's "Musicians" show. I hope that maybe this is a clue that the band might be doing an episode of that, which is really exciting. They have profiled Heart, and Sheryl Crow (who of course talked a bit about Stevie on hers), so I really would like to see one on Fleetwood Mac.

Well let me tell you I just about hyperventilated and had to to sit down when I got a look at that nerver-before-seen photo on the first inside page of the booklet......
I had forgotten how gooooooooood a curly-headed guitar hunk can look in a pair of tight jeans.......whew! I mean really tight. I remember when guys (and us girls) wore our jeans that tight and it still made me tingle! lol!! Anyone else getting a cheap thrill off Lindsey's pants?

Oh well all that goes without sayin'! haha!!
If he didn't have that wonderful ability to do what he does with a guitar, then the TOTAL PACKAGE wouldn't be nearly as attractive! lol!! He's a total package of talent, eyes, hair, and um, ability to wear pants well, whether they be loose linen al la Mirage or tight 70's bellbottoms. fur shureeee! I got home from work early the other day, and while I had the house to myself I put on one of my Lindsey CD's. I turned it up really loud and laid on the floor listening to Gift of Screws, Twist of Fate, COME, Murrow, Shuffle Riff, and I'm So Afraid, Go Insane, and Big Love from the Dance. It was such a trip!

I did when I received my copy from the "Canucks" up North (For $16...Cheaper than ANY retailer in this area had it...) was read the liner notes...I thought it was a nice rehash of the history for the newer fans, I wished the notes on the songs were a bit more comprehensive though (ie-Take #, Date recorded, etc)...Brian J.
PS- I thought it sounded great on my stereo systems, Its cool to hear some of the "Broken glass" part (See the "Rumours" Audio-DVD interviews for more on this...) that was edited out of the original version of "Gold Dust Woman" from "Rumours"...

Don't get me started on how sexy Lindsey is!! LOL His eyes ALONE are worth admission!! WOOO!!
![]() The fact that he plays guitar, sings and writes takes him up a TRAZILLION percent on the sexy meter!! He's old enough to be my DAD, but WHO CARES!! LOLOf course, he also touches my soul with his music...and that is sexy too! I listened to ISA today on the CD I burned from the VBofFM and I almost started crying...my eyes got misty. I can't thank Lindsey enough for writing that song and for playing it THAT way on the Dance. ![]()

lol, Thank god I no longer have to make those type of decisions, I picked up both cd's...that is, I'm assuming you guys are talking about Buffy's Once More With Feeling. It's a very fun album but they should have also added Anya's new song from last week as a bonus track...have any of you got any of the season DVD's?? My hubby and I are getting a DVD for Christmas and purchasing Buffy/Angel seasons will be a top priority...
my Buffy/Angel obsession is almost on the same level as Stevie/FM but Stevie/FM have a long history... ![]()
