Default nightbird live

hi everybody.
I've downloaded from Winmx a video of Stevie : "Nightbird live 1983". It is NOT the "Saturday Night Live" version !
Stevie is singing live but the band (Included Waddy) is not playing live. It's the original instrumental version of the song.
I believed that Stevie sang only one time nightbird live on tv in 83 ? ON Saturday Night Live.
But NO !!! apparently... ??? So, from which tv show does it come from ? Someone told me Solid Gold but i thought she only sang stand back....
The singing of Stevie is awesome on that version (better than the SNL version in my opinion).
Does someone has a mp3 of that version ?
Thanks for your answers

Stevie did sing "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in addition to "Stand Back"...so that's probably the version you downloaded from WinMx. The band wasn't there playing live but Sharon, Marilyn, and Lori were doing back up vocals on the song. I have it on tape but not mp3.

Question Wher'd ya get it?

I have the Solid Gold performance of Nightbird on video. I love it, but the quality is really fuzzy (audio and visual), so I'd like to download it.
Is Winmx a website or a file-sharing thing or what?
Thanx.

I want to go on record saying that her performances of this song live definitely do it justice!! I love it!

Isn't she singing to a back track?

And doesn't she switch dresses with Lori??

I love this show! I actually got a really decent quality of that and I adore it....I love her at the time, a little wild but its all good!

Goodness knows we wouldn't want Stevie to be too animated, we of the "Enchanted" & "Trouble in Shangri-La" generation!

Yeah Janet, I think that's what it was, a "backtrack" to Stevie singing live. Even though the band was there, they were all "air playing" so to speak. If you listen to the same songs done on SNL a few months before you can hear the difference on the "instrumentation" of the songs.....much more "live" on SNL. Stevie did sing live on both shows...I guess she's not one to lip-synch her songs. With all the ad libs she does I guess that COULD become a little embarrassing for her.

Actually the SNL performances are the ones I prefer......speaking of animation!!

Stevie has lip-synched before!!!!! I found the footage the other day.....On the back of my Rumours 1977 outtakes there is a German or Swedish TV Program in 1997, where FM did Silver Springs...You know she is lip-synching because she messes it up, b/c the version was an edit..lol...She just keeps on though...Its quite amusing....

LMAO! I know right...i SO wish she would get some of that craziness back that she had.Granted, alot of it must have been drug-induced...but,i think she could rock out a little more for sure

Well, from what I've seen from Enchanted, I liked Stevie's performances. She was a lot more subtle, but still had her quirky ways. For instance, I love on the Radio City Music Hall show when she comes out to Whole Lotta Trouble and does a little shimmy type move, and then she freaks out at the end. The Pittsburgh TISL show she was pretty animated too, except for Edge of 17. I'd think if you saw later shows she wasn't as animated due to sickness, 9-11, blah blah blah. Plus, being 53 and still slightly overweight does take it's toll after a while I'd think...and I'm NOT saying Stevie is fat, but she's still got a little extra to carry around.

Another thing that I've always said and will continue to say, Stevie just seems to get more into the music while she's with Fleetwood Mac. Now, that's my opinion, others could argue it...it's just what I've seen. I think we will see more animation on this next tour.
