Default Classic rock countdown

hey i already posted the count down in the rumors forum but i thought that there was something rather interesting about the results. 9/12 of the songs on the chart were stevie songs (conting chain after all she wrote the lyrics). chris had a ton of singles yet only two of them (not counting the chain) are on this list. read from that what you will but it seems to me that altough stevie is sometimes joked about/parodied she has alot more regognition and appretiation from people in the music buisness. Dont get me wrong I love Chris and her music to death i was just making an observation. any way bellow are the FM/Stevie reults of Bostons 100.7 WZLX "Memorial 500"

400. "Stand Back" - Stevie Nicks
358. "Gypsy" - Fleetwood Mac
334. "Gold Dust Woman" - Fleetwood Mac
294. "You Make Lovin' Fun" - Fleetwood Mac
280. "Don't Stop" - Fleetwood Mac
274. "Leather and Lace" - Stevie Nicks
226. "Dreams" - Fleetwood Mac
221. "Edge of Seventeen" - Stevie Nicks
110. "Landslide" - Fleetwood Mac
78. "Go Your Own Way" - Fleetwood Mac
66. "The Chain" - Fleetwood Mac
17. "Rhiannon" - Fleetwood Mac

(sorry for the long post im kinda stressed out and when i am once i start talking/posting/iming/E-mailing I tend to ramble)

Smile Was the top 3 songs...

the following 3 songs?

3.Comfortably Numb-Pink Floyd
2.Freebird-Lynyrd Skynyrd
1.Stairway To Heaven-Led Zeppelin

These 3 songs seem to NEVER change the position when the local classic rock stations have the "Rock N Roll 500"...lol...Brian

Well, I'm sure Hotel California was somewhere in the top ten, but I'm glad it's not in that top three list. I'm sorry, I mean, I don't think it's a bad song, but the song is so BORING to me. It's so repetitive, so LONG...although I've been told the same thing about Edge of Seventeen by many people. But really, I usually always turn off Hotel California when it comes on the radio.

I don't think so, but i can see HOW EO17 can become repeditive. I'm not egtaderating when i say i've heard "Just Like the white whinged dove sings a song sounds like she's singing, OOH BABEY OOH SAID OOOH" 10'000 times in the past 3 years.

By repetitive in Hotel California, I don't necessarily mean lyrics wise, I mean melody wise, and form wise. Verse, chorus, verse, chorus. There's not much variance in the song.

It really bothers me that Talk to Me and I Can't Wait get no attention. Like I've said before, I may have been 4 or 5 years old, but I remember I Can't Wait being played like CRAZY back then, and since radio play didn't count toward Billboard, it did only hit #16. But then again, Landslide hit #51. I've never heard I Can't Wait on the radio since the 80's.
