Exclamation Stevie says she can't leave Fleetwood Mac

I am guessing this interview is late 1989? She talks about a Fleetwood Mac tour "next year." Her hat looks like the one she wore in the Save Me video. Its sad to see the klonopin kick in. Just 2 years post Tango and her face is heavier and her eyes more distant. But she seems happy . She says she cant leave Fleetwood Mac yet left about 2 years after this interview

Yes, it looks like circa Behind the Mask. But the description says Originally aired on the influential Music Box television channel, and its wikipedia page says that channel Closed: January 30, 1987. That's before Tango release, which doesn't make much sense to me. Stevie entered the Betty Ford in spring '87, or so I read. Klonopin started after that, and by 1987 her hair used to have a more freezy look. I guess the interview is not from that channel.

If she really meant she couldn't leave the band as a feeling from that moment, or as an armed phrase typical when they are promoting the album, I don't know.

It could be late 1987 and she is referring to the Mac tour next year in Europe (1988). But she looks a bit older and it would be late 1989. I dont trust when people upload videos with approximate dates. The video of her in the blue dress is early 1987. Even with a tour and klonopin I don't think she went down hill that fast. This looks like a few years on klonopin. But who knows. The way she keeps referring to her solo career and going back to the Mac does imply its shortly after OSOTM. But its the same hat as the Save Me video, no? Another clue its 1989. She had platinum blonde hair by the end of 1987. Her hair is not as blonde. Having said all that it could be late 1987 because she does not mention a new Mac album, she only references a tour which did resume early in 1988.

I found this clip from Ireland, according to the Shake the Cage dates it must be june 1988, at the end it appears Stevie with that Mufasa haircut I remember from that tour pictures.

Fleetwood Mac in Dublin City, Ireland 1988

Also in this one though not so Mufasa from the "Mexican Grand Prix" in UK, that event took place on May 29, 1988; the London Mac shows were in May too; I don't know if The Chain is an usual anthem for the Grand Prix, is it? Cause they use it also for the F1 (Brad Pitt) 2025 movie trailer. By the way, this clip ends with The Chain live from... the Tusk tour.

Yes, in the UK The Chain is the signature for Grand Prix…..(well John’s famous bass line)
It’s been used since 1978 off and on.
I’m not a fan of Grand Prix but I think it’s still used
