What a rollercoaster year: true reconciliation with an old friend, serious injury, successful tour...

It seems the writer thought in fans like us when he said a few deeper cuts would have been welcomed by diehards as well as freshened the setlist. Also I agree her voice sounded good.

I was looking for videos of that date but there are still only a few. I wanted to see if she sang Angel; I haven't lost hope that she'll do it again at some show. So I checked the setlist and one detail caught my attention. After the songs list it says Note: Started introducing "Stop Draggin'" before "Outside the Rain" then realized mistake. Does it mean the band forgot the order and play the wrong song? That seems strange to me; I always thought everything is well coordinated, the musicians have headphones, etc.

Probably, Stevie herself started telling a story to introduce Stop Dragging My Heart Around, and then someone reminded her the next song was going to be Outside the Rain- the band hadn’t played a note of the song at that point.

I thought it was interesting the writer referred to Talk to Me and Rooms on Fire as “minor singles.” Talk to Me made it to #4 I think, hardly a “minor single.” Rooms, maybe, but not Talk to Me. Good review, though, and his point was very valid about her setlist.

I agree. I remember TTM was very popular on local radios. Not ROF, I actually can't remember if I heard that song before I bought Timespace.

Maybe the writer's opinion was influenced by the lower sales success of Rock A Little compared to her previous albums? Though it was far from a commercial failure anyway.
