Default Cert no valid

The Chrome (and Edge) browser is showing me the message Certification not valid, connection to this website is not secure. I think it means that the browser cannot trust the SSL certificate, probably because it has expired? Do you guys see the same message? I understand it is a security risk. Will it be fixed?

Or is it my pc? I don't have that message from any other webpage.

It's the site, not you.

It's been doing it to me for about a week. ONLY from a computer, though, not from my phone.

Yeah, something's expired, and I haven't seen Michele on here for a while, so she probably doesn't know.

I can no longer get on here from a computer, ONLY from my phone. Does anyone have a way of letting Michele know that the security certificates have expired?

when i saw that cert warning about a month ago, i got around it by googling how to access blocked websites and was able to still get in on my laptop. it wasn't too hard...maybe worth a shot for those having issues?

It's weird. I knew that she sold it, quite some time back. BUT, she seemed to retain being the overseer(chief mod).

I sometimes wonder(DAILY), if anyone has actually purchased something from the ads here(as in, EVER?)

I read online that no one knows who owns this site and that it no longer has the access to allow anyone to sign up. Apparently there are people that tried to be members over the years and its no longer possible. Anyone know if that is true? Message boards are dying and really outdated. They existed with the dawn of the internet. People use other forums. I belong to 2 other message boards and hardly any activity on them. This board has a wealth of information and it would be a shame to lose it. I think its going to suffer the same fate as the band. People under 35 don't even know what a message board is. Video killed the radio star and Facebook killed message boards.
Like most of you, I was blocked by computer and phone for weeks. Then suddenly its back up and I don't have any issues. It crashes many times but always comes back up.

It's true that nobody new can register, which is frustrating. I have no clue who owns this site now which makes me sad but I guess it is what it is marty has no control over it anymore and I'm always scared this site will vanish one day. plus it gets bashed all the time by young folks for "negativity" and being toxic and yet people still seem to flock to it for info and the ledge and the q&a's etc. I still havent gotten any more info from Marty about contacting michele....I apologize for how things are...

Yes it is quite amusing what is written about this site. You gotta be tough. Many are frustrated they can't join which is a shame because new members adds new life. All of us tell the same old stories
What would you say.....there are maybe 15 regular posters here at the most? I like to post things to keep it alive and relevant. People were writing what got them banned from this site. This place must have been ruled by an iron fist because what they say got them banned seemed quite extreme
I was a lurker for over 10 years before joining. The sad reality is ALL message boards will die. Websites need things to keep them running. Our time is limited. We are all listening to 8 track Rumours tapes in a digital world

Lis, it's actually amazing that it's still around. I too worry that it's going to disappear one day. I've officially been here for 22 years, and lurked for 2-3 years before that, BECAUSE I THOUGHT PEOPLE WERE TOO MEAN HERE. Man, did I learn to adjust. But I'm thankful for the years I've had here, and hope it goes on forever, or for as long as possible.

I vaguely remember a new owner taking over maybe 5 or 6 years ago. From what I remember, they had a user name of Turbo GT or something like that. I thought it weird they only posted once or twice.
Edit: RacerGT….one post

But, and I'm positive about this, somehow Michele retained being the overseer of the modding.
