I will be in NYC for this show but have held of buying tickets because this venue sounds like a pain in the @ $ $ to get to/from. (driving is not an option for this Aussie

)

So this is more for the locals/previous concert dwellers

are there ample/any taxis around the venue after the concert????
like how there used to be after an ice hockey game?

does anyone actually catch a train home (back to the city??? my only issue here is being alone at a train station at 11 or 12 whatever by myself in the dark. I don't even catch a train here in the daylight

)

should i just get a room for the night? (least preferred option) unless there is something super exciting and must-see touristy thing to do in the morning???????????

is anyone on here catching a taxi/train back to the city and wanna hang out ??

Some years ago, for the IYD tour, we rented a car with driver to go to Jones Beach from Manhattan. We were a group of 4, so it wasn't that expensive.
This time, we'll fly from Spain to NYC, but we'll attend the Newark show, that I think is closer to Manhattan than Nassau. And we'll rent a limo or so to go there. Why don't you buy tickets for Newark? You can go there by train... or share the ride with us!
