Default EDGE of 17. No more "OOOHYEEEAH" :-(

Why is she totally skipping the "Clouds never expect it when it rains..." part? But more importantly, the trademark "OOOOOHYEEEEAH" wail after that part? EO17 isn't EO17 without the "OOOOOHYEEEEEAH" :-(

The edge walk for time saving is cool. Eliminating the OOOHYEAH wail isn't cool. I remember she eliminated the wail during Edge on the IYD show I saw, and hoped it was a fluke. Then she didn't do it on Ellen a few weeks ago and I got worried. I guess it's gone for good. The song just isn't the same without it. Heck, for 30 years, my friends to this day say "ooohyeah" to me as a joke when they see me because I love Stevie and always have.

She doesn't want to waste any time that she can fill with a song!

She should drop Enchanted and just do Rhiannon for an encore. That would free up time to finish Edge. Then, she should alternate Wild Heart and Bella Donna each night.

Just my take.

Dropping that part of the song is a bad move. It's her song and her choice but it's also her trademark. Her wailing is part of what what makes her such a phenomenal stage presence. There HAS to be a reason. Maybe its the risk of f'ing it up as it's clear her varied range isn't what it was in the 80's but her audience loves her and would forgive if it was modified a bit, but it's incomplete w/o that special part of the song.

it's too high for her voice now. and it requires a wild energy that she was able to do when she was less aware of how to protect her voice. She'd never do that now...
