Stevie worth $75 million?

I was listening to Sirius XM 70's channel the other day and they were talking about a list of lead singers and how much they are worth. They said Stevie was ranked #42 at $75 million. Has anyone seen the article they were talking about?

I remember someone had posted some weeks ago the scan of the article in question in the MacNuggets section, but if I remember well it was a celebrity network editorial that said that her internet worth was 65 million.

Stevie definitely has a lot of money tied up in the real estate we know about. Easily $20 million between her Palisades home & Santa Monica condo. Who knows how many other properties she owns. She also supports a LOT of people- all those godchildren, staff members, backing vocalists & musicians, family, etc.

For all of that she lives relatively simply, though. She seems to keep a very pared & unflashy wardrobe. Her homes appear very sparsely furnished- and with off the shelf items to boot. No crazy art, antiques, or car collections.

That doesn't mean anything, websites, blogs and web magazines use her image continuously, and I don't think she dislikes that at all.

I would think that Stevie is definitely worth over $100 million.

The most she's said is that she's "financially stable" which basically means that her fortune is immune to recession shocks and such. Clearly her concern over record sales have more to do with the acknowledge of it being "good work" (Gold record award, for example) than the financial side of it.

She should be, but it's hard for me to trust any rock star with their finances.

I remember a few years back she was in trouble with the IRS. Seems she
had trouble with some of her tax write-offs.

Stevie seems to spend a lot, but from what little we can see from the outside, she seems to do so within her means. Mick is a different story though. He is still making dubious investments.

But maybe he just lends his name to things and doesn't put in his own money anymore.
