Cool Outside the Rain live 1991- Concord, CA

The Timespace tour had a professionally shot concert in Concord in 1991. I have it on VHS . Its a great concert for many reasons. The Timespace tour was the first time Stevie brought 2 guitarists to her stage. Her band rocked. Its also the first time she did Landslide solo.
In 1991 Stevie was almost at the peak of her Klonopin addiction. The Concord concert opens up with Outside the Rain. But Stevie was so zonked she kept singing the third verse over and over. The first time I saw the concert, it did not hit me right away because her band and singers do a good job keeping up with her. I watched other Timespace Outside the Rains on youtube and she did not do this. I spoke to someone that also bought the Concord show but Outside the Rain was removed from the concert tape/DVD. I have it on VHS and I am not smart enough to post it on youtube. I post this not to make fun of Stevie but its really a different take on this song. It actually does not sound too bad. She just got stuck on the "look in my eyes touch my face, there is no one that can take my place" over and over for 5 minutes.
Yes its pretty sad but her band kept up and I think it sounds pretty cool. Anyone else see this or can post it? The entire Concord show is on youtube except Outside the rain.

I own that show on VHS. She must have realized the screw up because she eventually does sing the first verse but it's it at the very end, where the third verse should be, but she already sang that one twice! I've often wondered if it was deliberate because she didn't really mess up any other lyrics during that tour, at least from the shows I've seen. She was remarkably on point considering the amount of klonopin and other drugs travelling through her system. Her band really is killer on this tour and I think she looked pretty amazing.

Sorry, can't help with the posting. Way over my head!!

Another cool thing about this song at this concert is when she opens with the 3rd verse.......So outside the rain and your heart skips a beat.... She knocks on the head of the microphone twice like knocking on a door. I have NEVER seen her do that on any tour and any time during Outside the Rain. She was making the microphone sound like a heart beat.
Gosh I wish someone could post that video so others know what we are talking about. I contacted the person who posted the concert on youtube and he told me Outside the Rain was not included in the tape he got....that it started with Dreams. The Jones Beach version is on youtube and she sings each verse perfectly and does not do the cool microphone knock.
Not sure she would purposely sing the 3rd verse twice. Stevie is famous for botching lines, words and verses. But it sounds really cool.
While the tour was amazing, and she looked amazing, the close up of her eyes tell the story. There is no life in those eyes. This is most notable during Rooms on Fire.
But one of my favorite solo live Rhianon ever "will you take me with you"

Yes I agree.I wonder how many tape copy generations these tapes are.I cant recall the clarity of my copies since I haven't played them in years.
