Default CD An Enchanted Hour With Stevie Nicks

Hi everybody,

The promotion-only radio show cd for the 3-cd box "Enchanted" called "An Enchanted Hour With Stevie Nicks" includes 2 tour rehearsal LIVE recorded versions of "After The Glitter Fades" & "Gold Dust Woman". Anybody knows or owns these 2 live versions? Are they complete songs or only snippets?

I remember looking for this when it came out. Never could get ahold of it.

A quick google search shows it can be purchased (for a price) the CD's seem pretty rare...

1997/1998 was just such an amazing year for Stevie, vocally. She had her 1981-1983 era voice back I feel like. She was still hitting many of the high notes, had the subtle soft voice still live and looked like she was having so much fun. If there is indeed an Enchanted era soundboard recording I would LOVE to have it.

This disc should be circulating amongst some of the older traders in the community. I remember trading for this disc many years ago because I remember the last two tracks. I traded for this to get the last two songs specifically. Honestly, I can't give you any details about them as I don't remember them as it's been years since I listened to them and I can't go back and check the disc as I lost literally everything in a house fire a little while back. I don't believe I ever ripped this disc and uploaded it (since I focused on live shows here) but I will check my mediafire account to make sure. I sure hope I did because I'm trying to put some of what I lost back together. If I find it, I'll post it (don't hold your breath, though!).

Edit: I've got several Enchanted shows in there but this isn't in there.

Ok, so after digging around in my library, I found the Jim Lad Enchanted folder. They are both full versions, but GDW is not as long as it normally is live (it's 4:34) It cuts out the beginning (Rock on gold dust woman..) and starts at, "Well it's a heartless challenge..." Both are good quality, and the GDW wail is awesome!

They're the complete songs. Ladd and his crew were probably at her tour rehearsals and got permission to air those performances on the radio during his broadcast.

the video's posted above from Woodstock are circulating as the "A Day In The Garden" bootleg. I have this show on CD at home. If it's not been posted by the time I get home, I will .zip it and upload it. It's a great show. Because it's outdoor, the accoustics aren't too great on it, but Stevie sounds great. She does a LOT of talking and is very funny. One of my favourite moments is during the 'Garbo' story and she can't remember how old she was when they shot the Buckingham Nicks album cover..."in my dramatic, 26...27....25 maybe? Oh, I was very young".

Wow, long time no see. Thanks again for uploading all those shows. It's such a treat to be able to go back for something new!

Hope all is well.
