Stevie Nicks DVD Signing at Barnes and Noble in L.A.!!

[jkmaletic]

Found out through Fleetwood Mac News on Twitter!!
December 4th at the Barnes and Noble at The Grove in LA! Signing is at 7pm, wristbands will be given out after DVD purchase that day beginning at 9am. I called the store and they weren't sure yet how many wristbands would be given, but the man I talked to said usually "there is enough". (Not sure if that's accurate - Stevie put a limit of 200 wristbands at the Amoeba CD signing in 2011) He said after you get your wrist band you are put into alphabetical groups (verses numbered wristbands).

For those in Australia, I hope she's still doing the Q and A screening event there this month.

I still want to find out more details, but ISN'T THIS AWESOME?! I'm happy because my wife finally gets to meet Stevie now.

The Sell Sheet came across my desk, here's a small
portion of what it said...

ALBUM FACTS
Genre: Rock

Description: In Your Dreams, co-directed by Stevie Nicks and Dave Stewart
is a documentary that follows Stevie Nicks as she begins writing and recording
her first solo album in nearly a decade.

ARTIST & INFO
Hometown: Phoenix, Arizona

Stephanie Lynn Nicks (born May 26,1948) is an American singer-songwriter who in the
course of her work with Fleetwood Mac and her extensive solo career, has produced
over forty Top 50 hits and sold over 140 million albums. She was deemed "The
Reigning Queen Of Rock and Roll" and one of the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time"
by Rolling Stone, and as a member of Fleetwood Mac was inducted into the Rock and
Roll Hall Of Fame in 1998. As a solo artist she has garnered eight Grammy Award
nominations (3) and with Fleetwood Mac, a further five.

Nothing more of substance was in the Sell Sheet, that was dated November 6, 2013.
Unless you need the "codes".

Two things stood out to me. As of now no mention of a Blu ray release.
Add your own curse word here >________.

The other, "over 140 million" albums sold - yeah, right.

I'm tired it's time to sleep...

This is very exciting news. This will give you more time to practice using your camera, Michele.

They were weird about cameras at the Amoeba signing. - they didn't allow them. I got extremely lucky to get a pic with her only because Amoeba took it and it was posted on their site.
Hopefully this time will be different, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

If the DVD version had some extra content to offer in addition to what's already been released, I may be able to conjure some excitement over this news.
