Default How did they meet?

Is there any official and detailed story about how Stevie and Lindsey met? I know they met at High School, but no more, except for a few words in Mick's book:

They had met by chance at a weeknight musical gathering for kids, whether at church or school nobody remembers. Stevie was there with her guitar, just to get out of the house. In walked Lindsey, a year older, slender, with curly black hair. He sat down at the piano and began to play "California Dreaming." Stevie wandered over, and they sang a couple of songs together. When the thing was over, they went their separate ways and didn't see each other for two years.

Did they talk each other that night? What did they say? Was it like when John met Yoko? Was there a special phrase or something?

I feel like Stevie talks about it all the time. There's got to be tons of quotes floating around.

It's been said it was a Young Life meeting, but then they've also said that they really don't remember and that it was just some sort of function/party/gathering. However, Mick's book is rather different from the version that S & L usually tell. I don't think it was a musical gathering and I've never heard that Stevie had a guitar. The basic story is that Lindsey had a guitar (not a piano..), and was sitting somewhere playing California Dreamin' and Stevie knew it so she went over and sang the rest of the song with him. Stevie says that was it and she walked away, but Lindsey thinks she kissed him on the cheek (and also has said that she actually showed him some of her poetry which he then criticized lol).

In 1981, Stevie said this: "I was a senior in high school and Lindsey was a junior. And we went to a Young Life meeting which was a religious meeting that simply got you out of the house on Wednesday nights and um, he was there and I was there and we sat down and played California Dreaming. I thought he was darling."

In 2009, she said this: "We were at some get-together and he was there, sitting, playing his guitar — 'California Dreamin' ' — and I walked up and brazenly burst into harmony with him. It was cool, and I said 'I'm Stevie Nicks' and he said 'I'm Lindsey Buckingham.' I never saw him again for two years.."

She talked about it in her Master Class episode, too, saying pretty much a variation of that same thing. There's tons of other times she's told it though that shouldn't be too hard to find.
