Default Straight Back #36 U.S. Rock ???

So according to wiki, "Straight Back" charted at #36 on the U.S. Rock chart. I know back then a lot of album cuts were played on rock radio but I never heard Straight Back on the airwaves. Did anyone hear it on the radio back then?

I must of been sleeping when it was played. I agree . I never heard "Strait Back on the radio here in CT.As radio sucks for current airplay for Stevie/FM.

They love playing her old tunes though.

I heard it a few times on Washington, DC radio- WAVA, WWDC, etc. I suspect that the Mirage album threw classic rock stations for a loop. It was the hot new album from a veteran classic rock band... but there was nothing on it that remotely resembled classic rock, or even rock, period. Sure, they did end up playing "Hold Me" and "Gypsy," but those were way more pop-oriented than rock-oriented. I suspect they played "Straight Back" because it was the most rocking song on the album- guitars, soaring vocals, minor key, etc.
