I thought you were suggesting he might sing on this tour! I'm all for that.

I think John hates sitting through the press stuff and, let's face it, the other three hog the limelight so much he barely gets a word in edgeways anyway. Just look at them barely containing themselves in the recent video interviews.

He loves to play live, so he'll be very excited about the tour, but I just think he doesn't see himself as having much (new) to say.

John cracked me up saying he thought the singers got a little threatened when his voice appeared on Cool Water.

I know he doesn't like to participate in this stuff. That's been clear to us since they had to cart around a cardboard cut out of him for Tusk, but he has to do at least one interview for this tour. I agree. C'mon. I'd dock his pay if he didn't.

I agree. I was just listening to The Dance the other day - on cassette, in the car - and I had it playing through and that bit came on. Do they My Little Demon after that? Or Temporary One? Or something else?

Anyway, it was great - what a treat. I was hoping we'd something like that again, this time around.

John's too shy to do interview after interview. He just wants to do his thing and leave it at that. Now I'd love to hear John do a bit of singing or a few interviews. Plus, like somebody else already said, the other 3 are camera/ attention hogs.

I don't think John even realizes how much we the fans love him or how good his playing is!

I don't expect him to do a lot, but a comrephensive one per tour should not be out of the question.

Agreed. I think that last interview with him in it was in '04 during the SYW tour. That's almost 10 years ago!

I liked back in the old days when John would introduce songs or do the "thank you"s after the songs...I think it has been since '76 or '77 since I've heard his voice between songs.

The 'personalities' have rather taken over since then!

So, if you remember, whose mic would he use when he did that? Would he go to Christine's mic?

We did get him saying if his mum could see him now for the Dance dvd.
