Default Stevie UK solo dates?

Now will stevie's promoters see that after the huge demand for mac tickets that stevie could easily sell shedloads of seats in the UK. Lets push for solo dates. Perhaps not till late 2014 but come on she is a living legend!

The time for Stevie to hit the UK with solo dates has passed. If she was going to do it, it would've been in 2011 after the huge promotion for IYD and the Hyde Park gig.

When we spoke to Karen in 2011, apparantly there were plans for a short UK/European tour later in the year, but this never came to anything. Based on what Stevie said to a friend of mine at the HMV thing, she's very nervous about not being a big enough artist on her own to fill the venues in the UK. Someone suggested that she should come back and play a certain venue, and her response was "but would I be able to fill it?". I don't think that, outside of Fleetwood Mac who of course have such a strong british history, Stevie considers herself to be a particulary big or successful solo artist in Europe.

I'd absolutely sell my body parts on eBay if it meant I'd get to see Stevie do a UK/European solo tour. The Royal Albert Hall capacity is 5,000, which I think Stevie could fill no problem, if she has the right promotion for it like the mac have had lately. 2 nights there would be amazing. Even if she wanted to venture to more parts of the UK and do smaller venues, there are still good sized venues like the Hammersmith and Manchester apollo or Brixton Accademy that would be perfect.

Even though it ended up being canceled, Lindsey's UK solo dates were only in venues that held 2 or 3 thousand people tops. Take note, Stevie!

^ The Royal Albert Hall would be amazing. I love it there, such a beautiful venue. But I think you're right, the best time for a solo tour would have been fairly soon after her visit in 2011. It's a shame that it didn't happen. I think Stevie underestimates the pull that she has, especially given the right promotion.
