I voted for Dave (Grohl), Jimmy, and Lindsey.

Realistically they'd never all work on an album with her..

That said, I really have my fingers crossed that she'll do more with Dave Grohl in the future because what little they've done so far has sonically surpassed most of Stevie's music in the past 20 or so years, to me.

Agreed. Although I do like Dave Stewart, and I admire his work ethic, Dave's stuff does sound way better basically all the time, just objectively judging the sound.

I'm going with Dave Grohl, judging by You Can't Fix This, he just may be able to blend that beautiful classic Stevie sound with his stellar musicianship and give us an album even better than In Your Dreams. Like Dave Stewart, he "gets" her, not sure Jimmy could recapture his earlier work with Stevie.

I agree, Dave Grohl would be brilliant, so refreshing to hear musically more edgy unpolished material of late eg GDW & YCFT..

What I liked about Dave G's work with her was not only that it was very remniscent of "classic" Stevie in style and arrangement, but that the production. It's slick enough to be palatable in the realm of today's prevailing production styles, and yet it doesn't take away from the song at all.

Stevie's collaboration with Grohl thus far has sounded nothing like 90s grunge. At all.

I'm not a fan of the Foo Fighters or that style of music, period. If it sounded like that I wouldn't like it

OK I have to say the handful of the current tunes are ok. I'm probably just over worried about the direction she will go.

I just have to let these tunes wear in on me.

90s grunge. That was the word I was looking for.
