Default Stevie Tattoos! :)

So I'll be getting some new ink in a few weeks, and I definitely want it to be Stevie-themed.
I already have a tiny crescent moon on my ring finger ( "on my finger... on my left hand..." ), that I got after the 6 month anniversary of when I got clean.
I was thinking "Come in ~ out of the darkness" on my ribcage in her handwriting from the back of Bella Donna. Or I was also thinking of maybe a bigger crescent moon made out of music notes.

So I was wondering if anybody else had some Stevie/Mac related tats they'd like to show off, or if anyone has some cool any ideas for me.

They both sound cool! If I were ever to get a tattoo, it would probably say "Have no fear, only love" but I am terrified of needles so it's not likely to happen.

Whatever you do, don't ever show your tattoo to Stevie

Don't soil your body with a tattoo. They are gross!

I have the logo that's on the front of the tshirt....the one with the tambourine and hat and her lace. It's from my shoulder down to my elbow. I have pics of it on my iPad but I can't figure out how to post them.

I don't have any tatoo's but I'd love the little wild heart thing she used to do when she signed her name.

PLAYBOY: Do you ever encounter fans more spiritual or spaced out than you?

NICKS: Yes. I came out the stage door the other night and a girl was crying, hysterically. I can never walk away from someone in tears, so I asked what was wrong. She said, "Will you sign my arm?" I did. The next night, she was back-with her other arm tattooed with my name! I grabbed her and told her, "Don't ever do that again. Don't ever have someone take a knife and cut into your arm with my name. It's not funny. It's stupid and I'm not happy about it." Her reaction was more tears.

Another night, one of her friends asked me to sign her arm. I said, "I did that the other day and the girl went out and had her arm tat-"

"Oh, she's my best friend," the girl said. So I told her, "I'm not touching your arm. And if I ever find out that you got my name tattooed on you anyway, I'll sue. Don't put that on me. That's pain. I'm not here to bring pain. I'm here to bring you out of pain." It bummed me out. I felt like I should have gone back inside, like I'd come out the wrong door.

That was in 1982 when tattoos were pretty controversial. Nowadays tattoos are an art form. Sometimes I see a pic of someone covered in tattoos and I think:"That's a nice shirt" and it turns out that the person is covered in ink art.
I think Stevie is pretty open minded and keeps up with the time. She might be flattered.

I definitely don't think she would have a problem with a tattoo of her face, or a tattoo themed to her on someone Especially nowadays, she sees lots and lots of her fans with them, even her niece has a giant one on her neck, it's a dream catcher and it's beautiful.

WHAT?????

In 1982 it was the same as today and the same as it's been throughout history. Some people like them, and some people don't like them. Those who like them do so violently, and those who hate them do so violently. And they have always been considered an artform by those who like them, always. And they are still controversial.

You will still find people who consider them as art today, and you will still find people who consider them mutilation today.

And my father, who got his tattoos in 1959, says it was the same then, too.
