Stevie Nicks hints at Fleetwood Mac Glastonbury 2013 appearance
Rumours grow as singer says tour will begin next spring http://www.gigwise.com/news/77048/st...013-appearance Photo: WENN.com Michael Kiwanuka Tickets Fresh rumours have emerged that Fleetwood Mac will appear at Glastonbury 2013. In an interview with ABC radio earlier today, vocalist, Stevie Nicks added weight to the suggestions that the pop-behemoths will be at Worthy Farm next year. She revealed the band are likely to be on tour by next spring, which would provide the perfect platform for a set at next June's festival. She said: "We go into rehearsals somewhere around the end of February. So if everything goes to plan, we should probably be out by the end of April or May, I would think." This comes just weeks after Glastonbury organiser, Emily Eavis, posted a tweet asking followers who they would like to see next year, with Fleetwood Mac at the top of many festival-lovers' wish lists. Eavis has also expressed her own desire to see the legendary stadium-fillers at Worthy Farm next year. Still rocking: will Stevie Nicks rejoin Fleetwood Mac for Glastonbury 2013 She confessed: "I think Fleetwood Mac would be amazing to get, I'll be totally honest, we haven't had any conversations with them yet but, you know, it's still early days". After previous claims that Nicks was the main stumbling block to previous reunions, it is likely to be encouraging for Mac fans, and those lucky enough to have Glastonbury tickets, to hear the news coming from her fist-hand. A further revelation is Nicks' suggestion that there could also be new material in the pipeline to coincide with the tour. She added: "Well, actually, maybe like two songs, maybe four, who knows? We don't really know yet because we're not in the world of Fleetwood Mac yet". If the reunion, and indeed the performance at Glastonbury comes to fruition next year, then it is likely to involve Nicks, along with foremost members Lindsay Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, and John McVie |

I know; they are attributing a Glastonbury's person's sentiments/hopes to her.

It's a quote from Glastonbury organizer Emily Eavis.

A quick look at the thread title made me think of Glastonbury CT.

I swear this happens every year. FM needs to just play Glastonbury and get it over with. In 2010 there was tons of talk about Fleetwood Mac playing Glastonbury and it didn't happen. Then in 2011 people went bat**** when they found out she was playing Hyde Park and thought for sure she'd do Glastonbury too. Stevie was even asked at Oprah if she was doing it and she said yes, but was clearly confused with Hyde Park. I don't remember any rumours of it in 2012 though, but now we are on with the 2013 talk! If Fleetwood Mac is hitting the road in April/May, I highly doubt they will be in the UK in time for it unless of course they start over there.
