Lindsey Buckingham – Los Angeles (The Wiltern)
$25 for a Lindsey Buckingham Concert on May 4 at 8 p.m.

Guitarists can only become great by practicing for hundreds of hours or winning one thumb-wrestling match against Jimi Hendrix's ghost. Take in mysterious talents with this GrouponLive deal to see Lindsey Buckingham at The Wiltern. For $25, you get one ticket for reserved seating in the front of the mezzanine on Friday, May 4, at 8 p.m. (up to a $62.50 value, including all fees).

Singer, composer, guitar maverick, and Fleetwood Mac vet Lindsey Buckingham strips down to nothing but his signature Rick Turner Model 1 ax and his instantly recognizable voice. The one-man tour promises new and classic solo hits such as “Trouble” bundled with a hearty crop of Fleetwood Mac favorites. Since the days of jangly singles such as "Go Your Own Way," Lindsey’s solo catalog has gained mass like a snowball rolling down a mountain of powdered sugar. His latest album, Seeds We Sow, is a showcase for melodic intuition and lyrical tales of mortality and transcendence.

Buckingham’s pearl-strands of arpeggios flow through the striking art-deco details of The Wiltern. Originally built in 1931 as a vaudeville house, the historic venue pulsates with live sounds while evoking memories of Hollywood’s golden age. As they make their way in, guests pause to gawk at the blue-green, terracotta-covered 12-story tower of the adjoining Pellissier Building or to catch vitamin D emanating from the ornate sunburst ceilings.

Only with His Turner? Can't be true... I hope he'll use it on a few tracks, though...
