I'll take that one further - every American is eligible to be a Senator or Representative, right? Pretty much? Unless you're a felon? How about term limits of 1 term and choose the people randomly like they do for jury duty.

Those guys go to work like, what, 5 whole days a year or something totally absurd like that? I'm sure most of us could be a Senator in our off time from our 9-5 jobs.

Yes I agree.We have to be a millionaire in order to run for the job.Also a good bullsheeter too.My Dad came unglued by watching the news tonight when these idiots cant make up their minds on the payroll taxes.A two month plan.Give us a break.Also the Unemployment checks will stop for millions whose out of work.Term limits got to be done.They get too old and rusty and useless like we see here.I forgot to add a title.Scrooges in Washington
