Trouble in Shangri-La interview
amazing after all these years to find interviews I haven't seen.... this one I somehow missed from the TISL promo... so in case others missed it too...
The interviewer seems like a real fan. Good clips. Love the conversation about Lindsey, the "skating" footage.... and I didn't realize she and Kim "are really good friends" now...and Christine "ran away" from FMac...hmmm... This is one interview, in 5 parts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhBZx...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lFiX...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlK86...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nF3pD...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sSld...eature=related Last edited by bombaysaffires; 11-27-2011 at 10:55 PM.. Reason: to note that these are all continuations of same interview

Quote:
Great quote from her about her TISL songs and LB: "He said to me, 'A lot of these songs are about me, hon.' I said, 'Well aren't you just so flattered that you have been such an incredible inspiration to me my whole life, Linds.'"

Thank you bombaysaffires for posting these interviews which seem to be new to most of us. I love when a new Ledgie contributes to the greater cause. There are 2 snippets from these interviews that I got a kick out of hearing so I uploaded them on hulkshare for you to hear. You can download them too if you'd like or just simply listen to them without having to hear the whole segment.
1. When asked, Stevie has no clue whatsoever that FM formed in 1967. Absolutely hilarious! http://hulkshare.com/i4bchddijlgv 2. Stevie sings I Never Will Marry http://hulkshare.com/capivn2pbpe0

Glad folks found these as enjoyable as I did.
Another moment I liked was the photo shoot with John Shanks when he talks about calling her up and asking her to sing on something and she says she went right over to his house "within an hour" and he says, "well, Stevie time".... like she probably came over a month later or something.... Thank you for sharing! I don't believe I have ever seen this interview before.
Question: In the first part Stevie talks about Tom and how he helped her....then it fades to a interview clip to 1981 with Stevie about Tom Petty with Toronto on the screen. Does anyone have that interview? I don't think I've seen that old video either!

It makes me relive TISL. I remember when that album came out and I was so excited for new Stevie music. Then 9/11 happened, and then album and momentum seemed to fade away. I love this album and this interview. Thanks so much.
