Question Who's coming to Melbourne Myer Music Bowl?

Hi Everyone,
Stevie is performing in ONE WEEK at the Melbourne Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

So... who is coming???
We are getting slack with us fans coming together because we have been so spoilt with having FMAC here twice and Stevie coming solo just a couple of years ago.

So... roll call..

Who's coming??? Lets meet up for dinner or something ledgies!

A friend of mine just walked by the bowl (about 4pm) and Stevie was there doing rehearsals/sound-checks. I could hear her singing "Secret Love" when he called me! I didn't rush down, as he couldn't see the stage from any vantage point and of course there was security so he couldn't wander in as normal.

I am looking forward to Saturday and Sunday nights - two Stevie concerts in two days!

Shocking weather here in Melbourne tonight. I wish promoters wouldn't organise outdoor concerts for Stevie. I hope she can handle the humidity, rain, temperature variations etc ok, but it's not her strong point. Not a great way for her to start this tour.

My seat is undercover, but I feel sorry for those who thought they would enjoy an evening on the lawn.

Not going to b a spectacular review i feel utter ill & only hv my fone BUT holy hell what has gotten into La Nicks...she was stunning. She was funny. She talked a LOT. I hvnt listened 2 any US boots so not show what her 'stories' are but she said she can't watch her Landslide backdrop coz she gets emo abt her dad...so of course i cried during it uuugh. Damn Stevie! Soldier's Angel bloody hell is all i can say about that. Her best of the night. SL was even pretty good. Oh yeah & then there was Leather & Lace holy woah

new thread guys re melbourne ok. Got home around 15mins ago. Had the best spot... and the photo's are AWESOME!!!! So get prepared my sweet ledgie friends, coz i'm about to spoil the shi% out of you.

p.s - when you are closer to the stage, it is harder to decipher what is being said, so her chat i couldn't understand. Thanks StreetAngel for sharing what she did say.

pps - lesson learnt, one drink is ok, two drinks and you don't absorb as much of the concert.

Much love guys, oh and she took my beautiful bouquet of flowers and thanked me twice. Woohoo!!!!!!!! Super hoping that she gets to read my brief card and enjoys the flowers from a fantastic florist.

Here is a great photo (taken by a friend of mine) of Stevie doing the Edge Walk last night, just after I got to touch her hand. I have never seen her so happy. She thanked Melbourne a number of times for being the place that started her new album two years ago.

It was the same set as I saw last month in Anaheim. She introduced Dave at the start and said he would be coming on and off stage throughout. My favourite with him was "Ghosts are Gone" - great to see him doing the lead guitar on that one.

She looks incredible, I'm stunned, she always looks amazing but there are no words for how happy, beautiful and stunning she is in that picture.

I'm so glad you had a good show and enjoyed your edge walk, thanks for sharing

She looks so beautiful in that pic - thanks for posting. Sounds like a wonderful show. Can't wait to hear how the rest of the tour goes. Am looking forward to all the new stories and reviews.

I also really hope she brings the show to the UK in the new year. Come on Stevie!!!

That is a great photo! I ran through the crowd to hand her my flowers, and told my stepmother to take a photo of when she takes them... but forgot to show her how to use the camera... so i've got only a couple of bad snaps someone took from their phone a fair way back.

Ledgies - she did look fantastic, new jacket, and she is showing a little cleavage, but modest and decent though. And she looks mighty slim!

Later today (tonight), I will get onto loading them into photobucket? and loading the vids onto youtube? Is this the best way to do it? I haven't done photobucket in many years, so assume there is probably a better way now?

Oh and the vids - they're like 7gb... they were shot in hd.. how can i load that up?

Amazing show, seriously! I'm dragging a few casual fans along to later shows, and I'm so relieved I won't be embarrassed, lol.

Setlist was something like this:

Stand Back
Secret Love
Dreams
Moonlight
Annabel Lee
Rhiannon
Soldier's Angel
Ghosts Are Gone
Gold Dust Woman
Landslide
For What It's Worth
Leather & Lace
Edge Of Seventeen
Love Is (encore)

What am I forgetting?
