Hello
I just received brand new copies of Law and Order and Go Insane, and listened to them over the weekend. Funny. I kind of like the raw sound of L&O , but Go Insane, I still cant get into this album, oh well I was wondering, it kind of makes sense that he couldnt tour for L&O, since was 1981 time, and Mirage came out a year later. But, why didnt he tour for GO Insane? I mean, that was 1984, and the Mac were done by late 82 with Mirage, and Tango didnt come out until 87, I could see a window of 84-85 that he could have went on the road? Kind of seems LB had some chances that he may have missed out on, solo wise back in those days, and then 1992-1993 he toured for Cradle, but by that point, he was a unknown basically, solo wise Just weird how he didnt hit the road solo wise back in those days |

Didn't have time. Nor enough non-Fleetwood Mac material (according to him). He probably would've toured had Fleeetwood Mac not "reconvened" for Tango In The Night and he had released the solo album he was working on.
At that point, with the inflated egos of the '80s, I don't think he would've allowed the whole "small machine/big machine" thought to cross his mind. At that point, EVERYTHING Fleetwood Mac oriented, group or solo, was "big machine". He just couldn't do a "big machine" solo tour and pull it off.
