Suggestions.. (: ?

[Allycattt]

Senior quotes time! I REALLY wanna quote Stevie. I have a few ideas of what to say.. I'm just wondering what you guys would choose as yours (:

I would totally quote Landslide but I feel like thats so cliche. Lol.

[jkmaletic]

A couple that come to mind-

"Everything happens for a reason, stay clear..."

"Dreams unwind, Love's a state of mind"

[GarboSpeaks!]

I'm quite fond of
"Where would you go, if you had the time, crossing some crazy state line somewhere"

It just REALLY fits what w/ all the Ledgies travelling for shows. And when I came from Or. into Cali. driving no less where you really KNOW you've left one state for another, just seems so fitting.

[Thrown_Down]

'And it all comes down to you...'

'Standing at the crossroads...'

[Travis]

"I think about the times to come, knowing I will be the lucky one."

and if you want to finish the line

"(for) ever our love will last, I always want to call you friend"

A nice lyric, but not a Stevie lyric.

[jkmaletic]

You could do,

"'May the moon never beam, without bringing you dreams"

Mine was "And the days go by like a strand in the wind, in the web that is my own, I begin again."

Yep, 'dreams unwind, love's a state of mind' is a classic.
I'd go for that myself

[goliath111]

my favorite is:

" a soul that's true is your ride to glory"

[WildHearted]

Are you looking for lyrics or just anything?

"Your graciousness is what carries you.... If you are gracious, you have won the game."

[Enchanted_Stevi]

"never have i been blue calm sea; i have always been a storm"

[GarboSpeaks!]

"Venus doesn't glitter when she stands next to you"

[olive]

she didn't write it , from the song that was floating around Call On ME for Magic, a demo she did for a friend(?)

"don't sit and stare at emptiness...til nothing comes along"

[daniellaaarisen]

Do you want any Stevie quote or one that directly applies to the senior transition? If you don't necessarily want one about transitions, I think you should just choose one that speaks strongly to you -- we are all giving suggestions but unless you want to adhere to a particular theme, it's really up to what defines you/where you are in life right now.

For the record, these would be my top picks that fit the senior year theme:

"And the days go by like a strand in the wind... in the web that is my own, I begin again"
"The chain will keep us together"
"The dream was never over... the dream has just begun"

And some of my personal favorite Stevie quotations:

"And the lady's feeling just like the moon that she loved... don't you know that the stars are a part of us?"
"Come in out of the darkness"
"You can consume all the beauty in the room"
"Love is a word that some entertain.... if you find it, you have won the game"
"If not at least within the touch of my fingers, it was close to being in heaven"
"dreams unwind, love's a state of mind"
"just how deep do you hold that dream in your hands each night?"
"Don't blame it on me, blame it on my wild heart"
"Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice"
