Rhiannon Board Tape - 1978 - Uncirculated Reel
A CD copy of a previously UNCIRCULATED REEL has been very generously shared with us. I hope everyone enjoys these NEVER-BEFORE-HEARD versions!!!! (Check out Stevie's "Birds Rising" speech; not so impromptu after all!)

I could see Stevie giving "Cecilia" the "Moonlight" treatment, based on these demos.
I guess Stevie used the "Beautiful name/birds rising" speech as a mantra to get her into "Rhiannon", since she uses it here, as well as the very well-known other piano demo. Does it lose its specialness? Could "Castaway" be another Rhiannon song? Or, like "Blue Water", is it just included on the reel, but not related to Rhiannon?

Not sure if these were shared in June. We posted them elsewhere, but I didn't get around to here because of my mother's surgery, and was overwhelmed. These recordings are from March 1978, but on a later Reel:
