Default NFL Football is Back! Who's Your Team?

Football is back! Time for beers, brats and your favorite snacks! I follow/ root for two teams - the Chargers ( primarily ) and the Patriots!

I love dedicating my Sundays to just relaxing in front of the telly watching these talented guys go at it. I love watching the bad weather games the most.

So, whose YOUR team and how do you think they will do this year?

Jamie

I'm a Jets fanatic. So glad we're getting a season! I go to just about every home game.

Ugh, the Chargers. I'm sure you guys have been pretty happy to beat up on the poor hapless Broncos the past few years.

At least we got rid of McDouchbag.

It must be kind of a dilema rooting for the Chargers VS. the Pats in the playoffs.

I do like Coach Ryan for the Jets. He's not so politically correct like the rest of the head coaches. The Jets are good too and getting better. I'm not sure of Sanchez yet though.

Yes, the Broncos are my team. We have no identity at this point and I think we haven't reached the bottom before the long climb up.

What?? Hey - share the wealth with the rings willya? The Chargers have zero.

Jets are enemies of Pats and Chargers, but i like them more than the Giants, only because i can't stand Eli Manning.

Broncos are obviously the Chargers enemy too, but i dont hate them or anything. Only team i hate are the Raiders!

Chargers biggest problem is starting off slow. If they could finally fix that i think they have a chance at a ring.

I agree, the Steelers have won enough rings. Time to share.

But don't you think how you finish is much more important than how you start?

I think that's pretty much the feeling of most people who are fans of AFC West teams that aren't named the Oakland Raiders. I'm a Bronco fan, but I also like the Chargers & Chiefs (I go back to the days of Hadl & Alworth with the Chargers and Lenny Dawson with the Chiefs...only been a Bronco fan since 1998, after the Rams slapped me in the face by moving to St Louis), so the only time I root AGAINST the Chargers & Chiefs are when they're playing the Broncos. I'll lean toward rooting for the Chargers when they play the Chiefs due to proximity...I'm in SoCal, so that trumps my uncles at one time having Chiefs season tickets.

That said, I was majorly rooting for the Chiefs in the first Super Bowl (which I attended)...got slapped down by Lombardi's Packers; but they held their own in the first half, though!

Oh, I hate Dallas & Minnesota, too...just for all those years that they beat up on the LA Rams in the playoffs. Rams always seemed to have the better team, but somehow they'd always have to play either IN Minnesota or IN Dallas.

OK...now let's get that NBA lock-out settled...I'll REALLY be pissed if there's no NBA season this year.

I'm hoping it's not the Vikings either.

It better not be the Vikings.

It's seemingly a lock that the Chargers are making the 100 mile trek north since they're the closest in proximity and could move up here before even the first shovel goes in the ground for the new stadium (home games at either the Coliseum or Rose Bowl until the new stadium's finished).

I'm praying to the NFL gods that they "do the right thing" and relocate the Rams back to where they belong.

In a perfect world, the Rams would move back to LA, the Cardinals back to St Louis. If Phoenix wants a team, move the Jaguars there....there's already two teams in Florida who've won Super Bowls.

And, for God's sake, the Giants & the Jets aren't only not playing their games in NY CITY, they're not even in the STATE of NY...leaving the Buffalo Bills as the only NFL franchise in the state of NY. Shameful.
