IMO only two should have left last round. FFG should still be here (based on votes, not my personal preference, which would be "Sorcerer").

Guess I'm voting "Love Is" & "Planets of the Universe" out.

I think the vocal on POTU is overrated - no way did it deserve a Grammy nod compared to some of the other tracks.
I miss the lyrics that were cut from the demo for the album track.
Most of all I'm disappointed in the production. Anyone else think POTU & "Secret Love" sound very similar production-wise? (though I do prefer Stevie's voice on the latter)

Agreed. TISL, FFG or POTU are usually always the last 2 or 3 standing. But "Love Is" has been enjoying a renaissance with fans since Stevie added it to her set last year. I've always had a sweet spot for "Love Is" (demo AND album version) so I'm happy to see it get some deserved attention all these years later. 10 years on, it's still one of my most played songs from TISL.

Not really. I hate the song but I know it is loved by many so if it wins I will celebrate by eating a whole pint of Hagen Daz ice cream in one sitting.

And it's the opposite effect for "Sorcerer". I think the live performances have hurt its popularity on here. The album track is far superior vocally & melodically to any of the other tracks that made it this far. I've already shared my thoughts on "Love Is" & POTU. IMO the song TISL is superior to those two, but it does not hold a candle to "Sorcerer" except lyrically. Her craggy voice sounds good on the chorus, but grating on the verses. At this point I hope it wins, but I know there's a lot of love for the other two on this board.

I don't recall anybody (fans) raving about Stevie's vocal on POTU Her vocal is very dry, but the chorus has some lovely, subtle harmonies with the girls . And it's blasphemous that they cut out the best verse. For me, I hear more similarity in production to Moonlight (the chorus) than Secret Love.

Yum! I haven't done that in a long time. Vanilla Swiss Almond is my weakness I just don't keep any in the house, otherwise I cannot control myself

I think Love Is gained a ton of new fans since it became part of her live set. It really makes so much more of a statement when performed live as opposed to the album version. The demo is also far superior to the album version and is one of my top 10's of all time. Love Is hasn't been a winner in the past so it would be really nice to see it triumph here. The other 2 tracks are also amazing songs in their own right and definitely deserve to be in the top 3.

If you go back a few years posters were in love with the vocal on POTU (and pretty much the rest of the album, except "Candlebright" - though to me TISL has Stevie's weakest vocals of any studio album other than TOSOTM).
I know some of the cut lyrics are on at least one of the extended/dance versions.
I'm telling you, the intros to POTU & "Secret Love" sound very alike to my ears. I'd think it was the same producer if I did not know otherwise.
