Wow the commentary is really stupid, especially on the 2005 pic.

Love the style of the 70's. Wish it would come back. I think Stevie looked her best in the 70's, young, beautiful, innocent, and the hair was her best, at least in my opinion. Thanks for sharing. These are nice photos.

Stevie Nicks' Bewitching Style Evolution
by StyleList Staff (Subscribe to StyleList Staff's posts)
http://www.stylelist.com/2011/05/26/...yle-evolution/

By: Sarah St. Lifer and gallery captions by Rachel Lena Esterline

The telltale sign of a style icon is when a person can see a runway look, a mannequin at the mall or even a mother at the grocery store and can't help but be reminded of a single person's wardrobe. Such is the case with Stevie Nicks.

American Idol contestants try their very hardest to emulate her, designers like Tommy Hilfiger found inspiration in her wares and "it" girls can't help but replicate her boho-glam looks.

So what is it about Stevie? It's not just a free-spirited approach to life, music and dressing -- it is how she presented herself to the world. Whether she was walking the red carpet or performing on stage there is only one word to describe her -- honest. The world was captivated her styling of sheer fabrics, thigh-high boots and belly-baring tops -- typically worn at the same time -- that these pieces became staples of the era.

So dust off that velvet cape, top hat and turquoise jewelry and celebrate the style icon's 63rd birthday with this captivating style evolution.

Check out this exclusive interview with Stevie on AOL Music!

And if you're planning to hit up an outdoor concert this summer, don't forget these staples that Stevie wouldn't be caught without:

Gettyimages dates pictures like that if the picture is from the 70's but they don't know exactly what year. The caption is added by the author, you would think they knew S & L joined in 1975, and you would think that they knew those clothes don't even look like something from 1970 as a writer from a style piece.
