Default 2 Unreleased Tracks From IYD?

Didn't Dave say the recorded 16 songs....God I hope the other two get released...I think "My Heart" is fantastic why is it just a "bonus track"? It's certainly better then three of the album's tracks.

Yes, by my calculations, there are either one or two unreleased tracks from these sessions. Based on interviews and comments from both Stevie and Dave over the last twelve months, there were between fourteen and fifteen tracks recorded for the "In Your Dreams" album and of course, "Cheaper Than Free", which was originally only slated for Dave's "The Blackbird Diaries" and then added to Stevie's album at a later stage.
There has been a potential title of "Shadow Of My Shadow" offered forth, but this has not been verified as yet. Dave has said on a few occasions that there would be efforts made to get all of the recorded songs released via bonus tracks and deluxe versions of the album so hopefully the one or two missing ones will make their way to us soon.
PS There was speculation that an alternate version of "Cheaper Than Free" would be included on Dave's album, but I don't believe this to be the case. The preview snippet of this song that Dave issued from his album late last year is identical to the one released on Stevie's album. There was talk on this forum about one version being more country than the other based on a tweet Dave made some time ago, but I think his comments may have been misinterpreted. That said, I'd like to be wrong about this once Dave's album comes out.

I was wondering last night if we were going to get anymore 'b-sides'...there's always been at least one, and usually they've become among my favorite songs. I am sure hoping that we do get the others in some form...

I'm hoping we get some unreleased tracks, especially if they're of the same quality as the rest of the album

Yes, I hope we get a few other extra songs besides (b-sides!) My Heart. Her b-sides are usually wonderful. If you compiled all her non-album tracks together, you would get at least one or two interesting album's worth of material.

I agree, she really has released some stellar b-sides. If you add in her soundtrack songs those are even more impressive.

Agreed.

Easily they could have made an album from:

Touched By An Angel
Real Tears
One More Big Time Rock N' Roll Star
Garbo
Thousand Days
Violet & Blue
Mirror Mirror
Battle Of The Dragon
Twisted
Somebody Stand By Me
Sleeping Angel
If You Ever Did Believe
Crystal
Blue Lamp
Free Falling

This would be cool though I'd probably change a couple. I was really disappointed that there wasn't a 'deluxe' version. So many artists seem to be releasing those these days. With extra tracks or extended versions/remixes etc. Or with a DVD included. I hope there are more tracks as B-sides released with different photos too. Time will tell. I do wonder if there'll be a vinyl LP for this too? Anyone hear about this maybe??

Also, Inspiration and God's Garden. Inspiration would make a good album closer.

Maybe they'll package the documentary with a CD.
