Sheryl Crow Sighting!!!

I totally had a Sheryl sighting at one of my favorite spots to eat in NYC. My bf is the manager at this restaurant and he was just as devastated with the Webster Hall cancellation. He went up to her doing his usual thing and said how sad he and his bf were about it (and pointed at me sitting at the bar). Sheryl called me over and she said she was in NYC to perform with Stevie at the show, and was just as sad. She also said Stevie was so devastated but her doctors really urged her not to push herself too much as she was so physically exhausted. My bf also told her we are doing a stevieesque listening party at my apartment tonight with close friends and she was DYING! I love how she is as much of a fan as the rest of us!!!!

That was awesome! Ummm.....wish the topic of AC/Borgata came up too. Everyone is waiting anxiously.

Must have been fun for you.... I wonder if we will ever find out who was actually going to be at Webster to support and wish Stevie well ?? More and more looking like we missed a REALLY BIG SHEW !!!!

Did Sheryl mention where Stevie is? There's an article that says she's in London, but no one can think why on earth that would be the case?

No she didnt, I just think its SO surreal of seeing her today...so randomly stevie of me!

Christine and here were working on some old demo tapes when she came down with The Fly. Now Christine is making her famous chicken soup with tea and crumpets while they watch the Tivo'ed Royal Wedding and write some new songs and talk about doing another Fleetwood Mac album.

Dani - would you be able to tell us more about this when Amber gets back? I'm a huge Sheryl fan so if I was in NYC I'd be there too!

I met Sheryl in the queue at Tower Records in NYC in 2004. It was completely random and all I could blurt out was "I have all your albums!" Fail. I then got embarassed and said "I can't believe I said that" and she laughed and said "It's ok, I've heard worse!"
