Default Parks and Recreation (Spoiler Alert)

Who else watches? I just caught up on the most recent episode on Hulu, and Andy and April's wedding made me laugh out loud and cry at the same time. I haven't found a show I like this much in such a long time. It creates that same feeling that FRIENDS did in the beginning of making the audience truly feel like they're part of the group.

Haha. For some reason the word 'Spoiler' never stops me.

Anyway, I bought the first season a week ago and have already watched the whole thing. I'd unfairly dismissed it as an Office clone (really just the first ep that's a little too similar), but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Love it.

How good is that show? The first season was pretty mediocre, but I think it's really found its footing.
Especially love the Ron & Tammy eps. Do Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman not seem like the coolest couple? They so do.

Watch Season 2 and you will fall in love. Every episode in season 2 is consistently funny and it's really what hooked me on the show.

I'm glad there's so much Parks and Rec love here!!!

Agreed! I feel like it's hit its stride because it's actual strength is the relationships and really solid, consistent character development. So much of what was brilliant about this ep was the way it relied on insider knowledge of the show for the really clever jokes. Did anybody notice how April had on a gray hoodie over her wedding dress when she first walked in to see Andy? Remember the sister's speech at the end? "If anyone has seen my gray hoodie" Also, Chris being the ONE character with the ability to freak out Oren. AND the Leslie/Ben moment that would have been the prelude to a kiss in any other show, but here was just silence as they were actually attempting to figure out how to escape Oren alive. Parks and Rec. You slay me.
