I love the ending lyrics to this little gem from ROCK A LITTLE... but you could never quite make out what Stevie was saying... I think this fade edit of mine brings the ending out.

Hey! Nice enhancing there! The whole song sounds better! Crisper, brighter... I love it!

Rick Nowels wrote most of this song, and last year he gave an interview in which he speaks very positively about her.
http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/conte...3fcd1d65aa78f3 This song is really catchy, but I imagine a Def Leppard-style really rocking Rock a Little, and Stevie letting Rick give this song to Belinda Carlisle, who he worked with right after. It sounds like a good fit for her. |

Brandon!!! What is your source for this recording? This is not the track on RAL! This is a totally remixed song with a different vocal and different music from the track I've always known.![]() |

Yeah, I was afraid to gush too much, but I heard things in this remix/enhancement that I've never heard in "If I Were You" before. Some of the synths and guitars and vocals... I was so impressed and happy to hear this wonderful sound!

I've never really payed too much attention to this song (probably only listened to it 100 times instead of the usual 1,000) so I can't even tell a difference except for the ending. Bad Stevie fan!

Heyo... Not sure which version of the song it is, or where I got it from. It was on my harddrive of backed up music. I don't have any CDs anymore... so not sure where I took it from when I backed it up.

Dang, in the minority again- To me it sounds exactly the same here as it always did before. I can't even discern one iota of difference in the fade. Oh well.

At 4:06 you can hear one more "If I were You"... I dont recall hearing that before as I brought the fade levels up.

Brandon, I wouldn't be the least bit upset if your decided to remaster other RAL tracks; esp. No Spoken Word, Some Become Strangers, Sister Honey (LP or 12"), Rock A Little (12" version w/o clicks) or The Nightmare (LP mix)and I'd love to hear an ext. remastered version of Imperial Hotel... just saying!!
