(new) version of When I See You Again

Hey guys,

I've had some "spare time" so I've been using Soundtrack Pro to edit some Fleetwood Mac songs.

Liam asked me about "When I See You Again" about a year ago and wondered if it could be made better.

The link that follows is a WAV version of the song in which I've cut out the awful "Baby, baby!" that occurs around 1:57 on the Tango in the Night version.

Also you may note the last 30 seconds has been enhanced to hear that pretty outro much easier. Also the song clips around minus 4 instead of the "low" level it previously had.

Subtle changes, but they're there. Hope you like.

That outro is lovely, you've done a beautiful job!
What kind of thing can this software do? I love Lindsey's backing vocals on songs like Thrown Down and Everybody Finds Out and have always wanted to hear them more clearly, or even without Stevie's main vocal. Would that be possible to do?

Step 2) - Rename "Book of Miracles" to "When I See You Again"

Lindsey's vocal is more prominent on the center channel mix. It's funny to hear him sing, "you can't have him. I do have him, all of the time."

Soundtrack Pro can remove frequencies as well as EQ, but as with all good mixes... if you're going to take something out you have to put back in. I could mess about with THROWN DOWN next and see what I can do with it.

Does anyone have uncompressed versions of each? (The Wall of Sound version and the one from Say You Will)... I'm talking CD quality.

That's what brought it to my attention first! Once I got over that I noticed how good it sounded!

I love that and he's promient on the "anywhere we can baby" part too.
