Default What would YOUR "This Is Not A Tour" Tour Set list have been?

All right. I've seen some folks complain about the set list (noooo, really?), mainly on the topic of covers. I'm giving you a chance to post what YOUR set list would have been for the This Is Not A Tour Tour.

Either pick songs that you would have had Stevie do or that you yourself would have done during the five shows.

I'd prefer that people try to stick in general with a few standards (there are certain songs that are always going to be performed), but it's not mandatory. After all, some people can't go without "Landslide" and some people can't stand it.

As a caveat, you have the option of doing one show for a general audience (the people who expect to hear "Rhiannon" or "Stand Back") and one for the diehards (the ones who will get rapturous if they hear "The Highwayman").

Anyway, here's mine:

1. I Can't Wait
2. Outside the Rain/Dreams (medley)
3. Face The Promise
4. Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
5. How Still My Love
6. Rhiannon (rock only)
7. You Wreck Me
8. Gold Dust Woman
band introductions
9. Stand Back
10. Fall From Grace/Destiny Rules (medley)
11. Edge of Seventeen
12. Rock And Roll (encore)
13. It's Only Love (encore)

Personally, I love all three songs that Stevie covered on this non-tour tour. I think she does better on covers when they're turn the amps up to 11 rockers.

Since this wasn't a tour tour, I would have gone with the "these are six shows that only those who attend will see" thought. So the set would have been for these shows only.

Talk To Me
Outside The Rain/Dreams
Angel
If Anyone Falls
Leather & Lace
You Wreck Me
Sleeping Angel
Gold & Braid
Landslide
Stand Back
How Still My Love
Edge Of Seventeen
Rhiannon
Love Is

I actually don't see much wrong with the songs she did, obviously the Bob Seger cover could be left out. But I am soooo jealous that I didn't get to see You Wreck Me! However, to be critical, I would have it like this:

Talk To Me
You Wreck Me
Outside the Rain
Fall From Grace
Rooms On Fire
Gold Dust Woman
Landslide
Blue Denim
If Anyone Falls
How Still My Love
Dreams
Stand Back
Leather & Lace
Love Is
Rhiannon (encore)
Edge of Seventeen (encore)

Not that I think she would really perform a set this long, but I would choose these, in this order:

I Can’t Wait
Rooms on Fire
Sable on Blonde
Talk to Me
You’re Not the One
Seven Wonders
Gypsy (acoustic)
Landslide
Gold Dust Woman
Rhiannon
Battle of the Dragon
Nightbird
Planets of the Universe
Crystal
Stand Back
Freedom
Sisters of the Moon
Edge of Seventeen
The Highwayman

Fall From Grace
Outside The Rain / Dreams
You Wreck Me
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
Gold Dust Woman
Rose Garden
If Anyone Falls
Planets Of The Universe
Talk To Me
Stand Back
Landslide
Leather And Lace
Whole Lotta Trouble
Edge Of Seventeen
Rhiannon
Love Is

This would've been my ideal setlist. I kept a cover song since she apparently likes to do those now but, for once, I'd like to see her try and encorporate at least one song from all of her solo albums into a set, so I included Whole Lotta Trouble, Rose Garden and Talk To Me since they're more than likely the songs that would get picked if she were to ever perform any other songs from those albums ever again (obviously excluding Has Anyone...).

In one of the interviews posted on another thread ( cant recall exactly where) Stevie talkes about her new album and there is a quote about her conisdering playing up to three new songs on here next tour. She gives her reason for this as being that people come to hear the hits and the songs they know and love. I think its a flimsy excuse because if one looks at her curent setlist ( and her setlist since about 2004) she doesn't exactly stick to her own reasoning. Sorcerer, Fall from Grace, How Still my Love, You Wreck Me, Face the Promise, Outside the Rain, Love is and Rock and Roll are either covers, or not songs that a casual fan would recognize. Thats well over half of her set list. If she is serious about doing well known recognizable songs, well then, where are Rooms on Fire, Stop Draggin, Talk To Me, I Can't Wait, Angel, Sara, Gypsy and several others. I mean if your gonna use that excuse for having such a blah setlist, then at least make sure that argument makes sense.
so anyway, if I was making the setlist for this minitour, here's what it would look like;
I did incluce a few lesser known songs because I like them and think they sound good live, but for the most part, I stuck to songs that the majority of the audience would be familar with.

1. Rooms on Fire
2. outside the Rain
3. Dreams
4. Angel
5. Sara
6. Blue Denim
7. If Anyone Falls
8. Gold Dust Woman
9. Talk to Me
10. Rhiannon
11. Gypsy
12. Stop Draggin My Heart Around
13. Edge of Seventeen
Encore
14. Stand Back
15. Love Is
16. Sisters of the moon

Here's my wish list: obviously more like only 7 songs on this would make it on her set list list.
1 Fall from grace
2 Rooms on Fire
3 Angel
4 Stand Back
5 Planets of the Universe
6 Blue Denim
7 Sleeping Angel
8 Rhiannon
9 Battle of the Dragon
10 Gold Dust Women
11 How Still my Love
12 Sisters of the moon, just imagine the crowd would go NUTS.... but not gonna happen!!
13 Sara
14 Edge of 17
15 Love is

1. Sometimes It's a Bitch
2. Stop Dragging My Heart Around
3. Fall From Grace
4. Nightbird (With Lori)
5. Rhiannon
6. No Spoken Word
7. Outside the Rain/Dreams
8. Leather and Lace (with Sharon and Lori)
9. Stand Back
10. How Still My Love
11. Gold Dust Woman

~ Encore ~
12. Edge of Seventeen
13. Love Is

I know this setlist wouldn't be ideal for a lot of people, but this is my IDEAL Setlist for the mini-tour. I tried to exclude most of my favourite FM songs (Angel, Gypsy, Sara) because I prefer the band to do those songs with her, personally.
Sometimes It's a Bitch is a little indulgent, but it's my setlist dammit!

'How Still My Love' is pretty awesome, but she's done it on many tours-- WWD, Wild Heart, Street Angel are amongst the earlier tours; and it's been in the set for several of her solo tours since 2000.
Keeping it to 14 songs, I'd choose:
1. Fall From Grace
2. Nothing Ever Changes
3. Outside The Rain
4. I Can't Wait
5. Violet and Blue
6. Long Way To Go
7. Planets Of The Universe
8. Imperial Hotel
9. Talk To Me
10. Listen To The Rain
11. Sleeping Angel
12. Dreams
13. Doing The Best That I Can
14. Edge of 17.

edit: 15. One encore- 'Stand Back' and goodnight.

I tried to represent the best of SN's solo career, we really can wait to hear GDW and Landslide til she tours with Fleetwood Mac, can't we? I left in Dreams because I feel she will never cut it. One FM song would be fine, but I sure would love to see a Stevie solo tour that was an excellent representation of her solo career. She's never done that.
She perhaps came closest with the TISL or Enchanted tours, but there's always way too much Fleetwood Mac material in her solo concerts. What's the point been since 1997? She tour$ nearly every year and always does FM songs she also does on tour with them.

If I went to see Stevie and THIS was the setlist, I would die very happy.
