I was bored by it. Couldn't get past the one minute mark and all that time wondered what it was that made a grown man cry.

haha... that's okay. Declan (a co worker) said Tom petty made you cry? Then we both LOL-ed.

Without getting so deep... This song just makes me think of my family, our past, and how I'd like to just have some semblance of love back between the lot of us.

Well that makes sense and I can relate. I've been estranged from my oldest brother and his wife for over a year now.

I'm sorry to hear that. My Mom and I are finally beginning to work on patching things up after a 6 month estrangement. We usually talk to each other daily... so this was a pretty big deal. I hope things work out for y'all.

Regarding the song... I really like Mike Campbell's slide guitar!

Tom's outfit rocks... Ima have to track down some retro/vintage stuff like that!

I just saw Petty and the Heartbreakers in concert Saturday night (my fourth time seeing them) and I genuinely think they are sounding better than ever.

This new album has had greta reviews. I can't wait to hear it!

On a personal note, I'm just beginning to patch things up with my brother after several years of us not being at all close. It can happen - it's just taking quite a bit of work now that he's finally willing. I just had to be very patient.
