Default If they did get back together...

In the end, it was really best for everyone involved that Stevie and Lindsey never got back together. If they had neither one would have ever written another song.

Well, if they do when they're like...75 years old, then it won't matter, and everyone will be happy. Except for the fact that they won't have a lot of time to enjoy the situation .

I never completely understood how they got together in the first place. I mean, they seem like very different people from each other. Anyway, people always talk about how Stevie and Lindsey should get back together. How come no one ever says Christine and John should get back together??

Well, Christine and John seem comparatively relaxed people with very few issues about their past romance. It just wouldn't be interesting enough for people to give a hoot

Oh, I think SnL are two peas in a pod, hence the clashing at times....besides, I think they all should get back together and do some geriatric pose for a reunion tour promo with all of them laying in a nursing home bed. This time Mick should be reading Prevention on the side in a little scooter.

Stevie is a commitment phobic that's why they never got back together and why she's never had a long lasting relationship.

I'd have to say this is not true. It's not fear of a committment, it's total devotion to an incredibly demanding career. When she said she's married to F. Mac (and later her own solo career) she wasn't kidding. It's hard for someone to be second fiddle in a relationship.

I don't buy that whole I gave up having a family to focus on my career thing she says in interviews. I think a small part of it is true but she definitely has some kind of fear of having a long term relationship I mean her longest relationship was with Lindsey 34 yrs ago.
