Talking Scam School! (Editor's Note: Insomnia makes me ramble. My bad.)

I kind of want to hug this guy.

I just discovered this show called Scam School on teh YooToobz, on account of I was searching for videos on how to be a blockhead (y'know, how to hammer nails into your nose and stuff like that? Yeah, don't ask. ANYWAY) - this is seriously fun. I've just watched like 6 of the videos, and thought I'd share.

This guy, Brian Brushwood, basically goes around doing scams and tricks for people, and then explains how they are done. It's really neat.

This is probably my favorite one so far. It's a great way to get people to bang their heads off of the table repeatedly and then buy you a drink:

And here I was, all these years, wearing a low cut top instead! I'm such a silly woman.

Anyway, here is a video showing the "coin trick that fooled Einstein." I fail at maff, but I think I could pull this one off anyway:

Okay, now:

Here's the blockhead one. WARNING: if you are at all squeamish, I would suggest skipping this one, because even I was like "OH NOEZ" a couple of times, and I still have my Jim Rose Circus t-shirt from back in the day (er...'97) when I was painfully obsessed with Nine Inch Nails and watched the Closure VHS set obsessively.

Ahhh, I can still recall the dulcet tones of my mother shrieking up the stairs, "THAT IS NOT MUSIC. THAT IS JUST NOISE!" in an effort to get me to turn down the volume on the stereo every time I popped Broken in.

But I digress:

I'ma go try it in a few minutes with a q-tip! And since I know you'll be very curious about the outcome, I will come back later and let you know whether or not I've given myself brain damage.

Tenterhooks. You're on them. Don't deny it.

All the same, baby. All the same.

"You never know what I'll do. I've resequenced my show. I'm a master at sequencing. I'm the one who sequenced for Fleetwood Mac. I sequenced 'Rumours.' Everyone loves my sequences. They're fun.''
