Default The Stevie Nicks "Blue Christmas" ABC TV Special 2009

The Stevie Nicks "Blue Christmas" Television Special.

A special only St. Nicks, um... that is Stevie Nicks could
keep under "wraps". A star studded spectacular. Airing
Christmas Eve 2009.

The one hour special includes the following guest whom
will be singing duets with Stevie on some of the Holiday's
most popular songs.

Nicks/ Eddie Vedder "Here Comes Santa Claus".

Nicks/ Nora Jones "Rock' n Around The Christmas Tree".

Nicks/ Lady Ga Ga "Have A Holly Jolly Christmas".

Nicks/ Alan Jackson "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer".

Nicks/ Martina McBride "Silver Bells".

Nicks/ Doyle Bramhall II "Merry Christmas Baby".

Nicks/ Duffy "I'll Be Home On Christmas Day".

Nicks/ Shakira "Feliz Navidad".

Nicks solo version "Silent Night".

Nicks/ Chris Isaak "Blue Christmas".

Taped during her down time between tour dates in 2009. Nicks is quoted
as saying "This is just for the fans who've been so loyal to me all these years.
I feel like I owe them something special, and that's why I've kept this thing
so quiet."

There will be short interviews with Stevie and her guest between songs. If
the show goes over well, Stevie plans this to be an annual event.

The event will raise awareness for the Tommy Flanagan Foundation, or
better known as the P.L.A. Ms. Nicks has been a long time member of the
organization. And has served as Chairperson.

Look for this special on ABC Christmas Eve 7:00 p.m. Eastern (check local
affiliates). The event will be tape delayed for the BBC.

Sounds like her best idea yet. Even better than Miley Cyrus covering the entire Bella Donna Album

Well, I hope that Miley will at least make an appearance. She could probably nail O Holy Night. Or, she could just do "The Climb." It's not really Christmas-themed, but it's inspirational!

Maybe Mick could buy an infomerical spot right afterward to sell his wine.

Wow.. this is great news! Where did you find this out? Thanks so much for posting. Gotta check this out as she sings my favorite Christmas carol so beautifully. It'll be nice to see her sing those duets too.
